The service was great! Most of the food was good…read more However, to me.. a few dishes smelled and tasted a little strange to me. My mother also agreed. The rest of the family thought it was fine. The Mongolian Beef tasted a little sour and had a strange smell. It wasn't off. It just struck the wrong chord on my tastebuds and nose. The SuiMai was also strange. I started by taking the skin off as I can't eat wheat.. but after chopping it, it did not smell like normal SuiMai and fell into the something that doesn't quite smell right. Everyone else ate it. Perhaps just me, but something smells strange in Asian food I have grown up with my whole life. I had the sambal chili chicken as well. It was average. I ate it, but it lacked flavor and chili :) This is my personal taste and smell, and others didn't seem to mind, but perhaps I am sensitive. I would not choose willingly to dine here again based on my preferences, but that is just me, so ignore. I would come here just for the pepper salt squid. This was my favorite dish. Fried rice was also nice as was the lemongrass chicken.

Its traditional take away chinese in a beautiful setting. This reminds me of all the chinese restraunts growing up for those special family dinners in the 90s. The mains are quite decently sized and the atmosphere is quite pretty. There is a big fish tank down the middle that you can see outside at night. I really enjoyed it. Its quite intimate for a big restraunt. They dont make you feel silly for using a coupon either like most places do in fact they have a menu specifically for groupon to stop the confusion. The food is good, like I said its takeaway typical chinese but the ingredients are quality. The staff are friendly and don't hassle you by asking you how your meal is every 3 seconds.

Proudly formulated in-house with only the highest quality ingredients such as the best Belgian chocolate, we Adelaidians can now add another home town delight to our list of summer coolers. With flavours like Kahlua, Hazelnut, Fig, Belgian chocolate and my favourite Turkish Delight they can be enjoyed in a cup or cone. They are happy to provide sample tastings at their Adelaide Central Market store. Enzo's at home is the perfectly placed store for a very creamy and rich treat to take home for a cheat's easy dessert - buy some fresh stone fruit, grill and top with whatever liqueur you have to caramelise (marsala would be perfect), top with gelato of choice and crumble over amaretto biscuits. Voila - la dolce vita Adelaide style!!!

I love my gluten so this is actually a taste preference as opposed to a dietary need, but it's also super handy for when I have to cater to those gastrically impaired friends of mine. My faves are the mini lemon cheese cakes and the olive bread. Delish! The staff are always helpful and eager to assist. The boy eats the turkish delight gelati (urk!) like it's going out of fashion. So if you're like me and think that there is no way gluten free anything could ever be tasty, check out Enzo's at Home for a pleasant surprise.

Don't get me wrong, this is the one coffee shop smack bang in the middle of the CBD that sells bloody good coffee with Bonsoy. There are new bean blends and origins on the menu each week, it sells quirky macarons (think hot cross buns and ANZAC Day specials) and it rocks the warehouse chique atmosphere to a tee. There is a huge BUT though. While the service is quick, it has no personality or concern for the fact that you are more than a soy latte or a pour over or a piccolatte drinker. I think they can sense my anti-hipster and as a result avoid making eye contact or engaging in a smile and a conversation. There lacks a vibe, a mabo, a feel to this place that comes with a buzzing staff who make an effort to know your name, have a chat with you while waiting for coffee and greet you with a smile. But if you're happy enough to join the line of suits waiting for their cuppa joe and ingrained on who just posted a new pic of their cat on Instagram (guilty) then this is the place for you.

One medium sized table for people to chill at, and watch the do their thing. Was a very personable and fun atmosphere. They're surrounded by a number of other great coffee joints, so they're going to have to be damn good and compete on charm and product quality, but i reckon they've got what it takes.

A decor of mismatched plates, old lino covered tables and mix and match chairs and tables in a church feeling type venue somehow works perfectly for this place. The only thing missing from the decor? A piano accordion playing Italian in the corner. This place serves up wood oven cooked everything. From home made sausage (literally a pig is brought in every week and made into the good stuff for the week), simply seasoned ribs and of course pizza. The food is made Calabrese style, in light of the owner Peter's heritage (also owner of Zucca at the Bay). It is for that reason everything here feels like it has been made with passion, romance, amoré and a special kind of moorish Italian spice. Even more impressive is the gluten free pizza option here. No more feeling like you're eating cardboard, nor feeling bloated and heavy after a meal. Our gluten eating friends were not savvy enough to pick the difference! The wine list is do die for and so is the dreamy "Wine Guy" somliers who come to your table and ask you in a French (apparently the two countries are friends now) accent what they can get you to drink. Swoon! The only down side with this place... It's only open for lunch on weekdays and dinner on Friday nights. They just want to leave you wanting more I think!

Ever wanted some 'dirty American' food but can't find it because you're vegan or eat gluten free?…read moreWell fret no more because Two-Bit Villains is here to save the day! Two-Bit Villains is located in a beautiful, yet often overlooked, area of Adelaide - upstairs in the Adelaide Arcade. One of the things I love here is that they provide separate menus for gluten free, vegetarian and vegan (alongside their 'regular' menu), so if you follow one of those diets you don't have to scour through the menu to find something you can eat. A nice little touch that makes everyone feel included! The owners Sass and Liam are also lovely people who really care about making their food good - and good it is! I have to say their onion rings are top of my list for best ever. Their vegan menu will even have carnivores salivating - everything truly is delicious and so well put together. And be aware - if the menu tells you something comes in a large cup - it really means LARGE (try the massive mocha, it's delicious)! A highlight of TBV for me is their home made soda. The flavours vary from day to day so you get to try your luck for something different each time!! Fancy it up and make it a float for extra deliciousness. A great, friendly place for a quiet lunch or a cool drink. Head in and see for yourself!
