The food was beautifully balanced, it wasn't very spicy but was nice. My friend and I both had vegetarian dishes and they were very hearty with many vegetables and good quality sauces. The cheese naan was to die for, very oily but tastes amazing. I might come back here. The food was good but there are plenty of beautiful places in and around semaphore road that are competing with this place. It is the best Nepalese place I have tried in Semaphore so far though.

Nepalese food appears to be less oily and lighter than its Indian counterpart, and that allows you to enjoy the flavour more fully. My personal fav's are the Tom Yum soup, Red Curry and there is a funky Meatball dish that goes down a treat! I was fortunate to meet Nidhi at the MasterChef auditions and even though we are now friends I hope this review isn't considered biased. I did pay for my meal and it was absolutely delicious. As the famous chef Marco Pierre White raved about Nidhi's lamb curry on the show it wasn't hard to choose that particular dish from the menu. At $14.50 a serve, provided in a handy microwaveable container I chose to eat at the shopping centre instead of bringing it home for dinner. The lamb curry was full of flavour and the meat instantly shredded from slow cooking, served with basmati rice, pickle and absolutely delicious crisp potato chips. I chose a serving of garlic naan ($3) too and Nidhi rolled the dough in front of me and cooked it fresh. Everything is homemade even the drinks. Served with love for sure and Nidhi's big smile. I'll be back soon to have a Lamb Kofta Burger.
