She believes in both, each complimenting and supporting the other. That's what I wanted and need for my best friend and little boy, Trooper. On top of that, she is happy to work with a patients' regular Vet and studies their medical records thoroughly. She has a gentle, caring manner and spends the time to fully explain her analysis, opinions and reasons for her recommendations. Dr Barotz has a 360 degree approach and the education, knowledge and experience to carry it out. I am so very happy to have her at our side through what is a very tough time. My Trooper has liver cancer. Thanks to her, I have a much better understanding of how I can give Trooper's body more support and comfort, as well as other options I might have for his care. I wish I had known her when I first adopted Trooper 11 years ago, through sickness AND health. I think we can take better care of our little friends with her full approach.

I was first introduced to Liz through a mutual friend. She gave me tools through patience, guidance…read moreand demonstration to care for my cat Fred and bring him to a full recovery. She allowed me to have many more years (he lived for 20) with my beloved furry companion. Now many years later she has helped me once again with a dog I inherited named Luna. She is a 7 yr old Chihuahua mix who suddenly started to suffer seizures, and became very wobbly and twitchy. Within the first couple of days the symptoms appeared we brought her to 2 different vet practices. They both drew the same conclusions of neurological issues (after ruling out toxins, injury, and tick borne diseases), but could not give a definitive answer without pricey diagnostics. So we started to medicate for one possible issue at a time to see which one would work (or not work) so we could rule out as we went along. In the meantime I contacted Liz looking for some guidance. I had a conversation explaining symptoms as well as sending her short videos during different activities. Immediately she recognized the involuntary movements, Luna was most likely suffering from cerebella ataxia. This made total sense to me as I have worked with cats that lived with feline cerebellar hypoplasia. Liz gave me a list of herbals for specific symptoms. Knowing I have some experience with natural medicines, she told me to "play with them" until I hit the right combination. I will not lie, I was reluctant to stop Luna's prescription from the vet as the pills seemed to be working; even though it was explained to me how the side effects may be preventing her from improving to the full extent. Then it happened, I accidentally dosed Luna twice one evening with her prescription meds. Luckily there was no harm done, but it was scary...and just the catalyst I needed to make the switch. Even though the first 2 nights she seemed to regress, I trust Liz. I told myself what I always told my customers, give it time. By the end of the 1st week, I started to see improvement. Over the past month I have tweaked her herbals (sometimes accidentally), and she is a completely different dog. She has not had a seiziure, nor does she twitch or wobble like she did a few weeks ago. She is now capable of eating, playing, walking on a leash and going to the bathroom like she did before the big seizures occurred and major symptoms appeared. Liz worked her magic once again...I used to trust Liz, now I have straight up faith in her!

I first met Liz last April (2016) when my Boxer became ill. She helped him and myself in many ways. Making his life comfortable in my home with her care. She was able to draw his blood here at home and then drop the vials off to my Veterinarian. This made a huge difference in me having to get my dog in/out of the car etc. Truly she reduced most of the stress. She worked with my Vet so that my boy could have the best of both worlds. She provides IV fluids and acupressure among many other services. Over time Liz has worked with all three of my dogs. Sally Rodriguez Hamm (FurMom)

The facility itself was clean, and easily accessible. The rabbits were very well taken care of, happy, healthy, and they had many options to choose from. The staff were so kind and accommodating, such a lovely family. We learned about their business, how to hold bunnies and my daughter who was very shy at first ended up holding one. They paired us with bunnies that were great with being handled and did not mind. It was an awesome experience not only for myself but for my child. She loved it so much she cried that we had to go. We will be back in the future to purchase a bunny here, but in the meantime we look forward to more visits as this was such a great experience for us both. I highly recommend this place for education, cuddles, and pets. They truly care about their animals and they have so many on their property it's like a mini zoo. It was cool to see the various sizes of rabbits, colors and patterns. We also enjoyed seeing their peacock, chickens, and free range rabbits. These people are awesome, and I'm happy I was able to find such a cool place not too far away.
