I have called and spoken with Debbie, the receptionist, and on each occasion she has stated that she is does not know anything about the chart and will call me when Dr. Johnson gets it to her. So far, no call. This withholding is illegal. Furthermore, I have emailed multiple times about needing a release of information form for transition of care. No response.

Sadly, the first question asked was "Do you have insurance"... not "What is your name", "How can we help you", etc. The receptionist then began berating me with dozens of disturbing questions including: "Do you have a gun permit" and "Do you own firearms". I told the receptionist that I was not comfortable answering those two questions and she immediately cut me off, proceeded to tell me that 'Todd' would review my answers and return my call if he accepts me as a patient. As expected, 'Todd' never returned my call and I was denied. I can only assume 'Todd' does not accept patients who may own firearms. This is just another example of why men do put much faith in counseling. If you happen to support the second amendment and/or own a firearm, do not try to obtain this 'open minded' therapist; he is a biased coward who should probably get some therapy himself.

He listens, cares, knows the right questions to ask, talks like a real person, and offers common sense, down to earth advice. He is very easy to share your deepest feelings with. I trusted him with my daughter and I trusted him with my emotional health. I worked with professional counselors and therapists.
