It was a bunch of middle aged country boys dropping countless F-bombs in front of the female bartender / cook / waitress. I felt bad for her, but she didn't seem to care and I eventually got focused on getting a bar burger from this hardcore country bumpkin tavern. I had a cheeseburger and a Pabst Blue Ribbon as well as mozzarella sticks. The burger was really cheap, like $2.75 or something incredibly low. It was very good and reason to return. Of course they had no craft beer, but I knew that walking in the door when I saw what looked like a half dozen Grizzly Adams impersonators wondering who the stranger was. The waitress / bartender was pleasant and attentive and I enjoyed my bar burger and that's all that matters to me. Did I mention this is a great place for cheap eats? Very inexpensive.

I ordered the Monte Cristo, actually that's why I came is I heard they had a good Monte Cristo. The person I wasas with ordered a small Wet Burrito. The prices were fair. The food was brought out and that's when the waitress stated they are out of the Raspberry Syrup. Umm without the Syrup/Jam it's not a Monte Cristo, it's a jam and cheese with french toast bread. This should have been brought to my attention before they started making it, not after it's been served to me. Still it was pretty looking and ended up tasting good. I took half home and at it with strawberry jam and it was excellent. The fries it came with were good, nice and crisp. The person I was with stated their Wet burrito was very good. The Service was sadly subpar. I've had much worst, but this was definitely below average. It seemed like she was exasperated to do her job. I don't think she likes her job and it showed. The lack of talent and desire in the hiring pool in the area definitely shows. Overall a 3 1/2 star review that'll be rounded up to a full 4. Basically 1 star lost for weak service and half a star for lack of supplies, aka the syrup. I would come back, especially if I was in the area. I would recommend this place for patient people, who food quality is more important than quality service.

I can't wait to come back and try the bone bread next time, stew and scrumptious sounding salads. Today we had the kids smash burger, Brussels burger with frites and fried haddock and frites with a delicious coleslaw. The best part? Different sauces to choose to dip the fries in. The curry ketchup was the best (special shout out for *actually* cooking the curry into the ketchup) as it did not taste of raw curry. They definitely don't cut corners here. We noticed, and we appreciated it. We will be back.

Yes, they have a small parking lot, and don't fret if you have the park on the street like we did, as we were seating promptly and it didn't feel too crowded. Since we were seated at high tops near the bar, the bar tender was our waitress, and she is literally the nicest, good energy, engaging human ever! She also whips up the custom, creative mimosa recipes, kudos to her for her awesomeness! I ordered the Shakshuka, flavorful, delicious, would order again. Even as a non-vegan, it was satisfying and would recommend to everyone. Husband had the 1964 Worlds Fair Waffle, and it was tiny. Not what you envision when you think of Belgian waffles. He also ordered the Belgian Forest Bacon, again VERY small portion, so much so that at the end of the meal, he had to order a side of the Smashed Maple Sausage. Both our drinks (I had the mimosa) were fantastic and worth ordering, loved the glassware! Aside from the small portions of waffle, bacon, and sausage, the cheerful vibes here are contagious, and I'd dine here again in a heartbeat!

Served with baked beans, potato salad, and corn bread. The Ribs werd delicious. Tender and very tasty. The brisket was very good. The wings were good, but small. I got the Bourbon sauce and their Bbq sauce. The Bourbon sauce was excellent and the bbq sauce was tasty, but I definitely preferred the bourbon sauce. The baked beans were excellent. I'm a little bit of a baked bean snob, and these pass my test. The potato salad was okay, but I didn't finish it. The Cornbread was also excellent! The service was were this place failed brilliantly. I walked in and was ignored by the older lady who was having a slow conversation with another customer and didn't even acknowledge me. I decided to use the restroom. When I came out there was a girl on the phone for 5 minutes for someone making a reservation. Again didn't even acknowledge me. Their was the older lady standing back by the bar, looked like either an owner or manager, just having a conversation with another employee the entire time. Just ignoring me. Finally a waitress walked up after waiting way too long and asked If I'd been helped. After being seated it took almost 10 minutes to get served. The place wasn't even 50% full, so there was no excuse. After finally ordering the service was hit or miss. Okay for a little bit then absent again. When I was actually served it was very friendly. I was considering ordering one of their new shakes, but with the absentee service a d her nit even asking if I wanted dessert, I decided against it. Overall the rating is difficult. The food and atmosphere definitely deserve a 5. The service was so bad the rating should be a 3 at best. However considering those Wontons I'll give the place an iffy 4 star review! Would I return? If only for the Wontons than an absolute yes.

The first choice was unavailable, then the second, then the third. After joking with our server that if the fourth beer wasn't available she should just bring us both Cokes, she returned to let us know that one was unavailable as well. To her credit, she did bring the Cokes!! After placing our order, there was a lengthy wait before any food arrived. We were at the restaurant far longer than expected for a meal consisting of soup, salad, and a steak dinner. Unfortunately, much of the food was barely warm, and some items that should have been served hot were cold. My husband ordered the porterhouse steak with French onion soup, waffle fries, and coleslaw. I ordered the fried goat cheese salad and onion petals. The waffle fries and onion petals were cold when served. When our server checked on us, we politely mentioned the issue. The waffle fries and onion petals were remade, but while the fries came back hot, the onion petals were still cold. Beyond that, there was little effort made to address the rest of the meal or improve the experience.
