I was in shock when officers approached me for a "complaint" here:…read more I was talking on my phone to a friend (unrelated to anything or anyone at the bar - Stocks and Crypto) Someone listening to what I was saying on my phone- to my friend: They made it as a personal attack at "them" and made a false police report. So as I was about to order a second drink; they or the bar called the cops on me, and the cops escorted me in pretense of being charged with "trespassing". (no valid facts, proof, or witnesses). I am barred or banned from this place. Which in my opinion: The place is doing me favor, so I wouldn't become a "regular" part of the crowd. I should, but don't want to spend "my time" or "my money" by suing the establishment: On the grounds of discrimination of "creed". Instead - This is their reward on yelp. It was a bunch of middle aged country boys dropping countless F-bombs in front of the female bartender / cook / waitress. I felt bad for her, but she didn't seem to care and I eventually got focused on getting a bar burger from this hardcore country bumpkin tavern. I had a cheeseburger and a Pabst Blue Ribbon as well as mozzarella sticks. The burger was really cheap, like $2.75 or something incredibly low. It was very good and reason to return. Of course they had no craft beer, but I knew that walking in the door when I saw what looked like a half dozen Grizzly Adams impersonators wondering who the stranger was. The waitress / bartender was pleasant and attentive and I enjoyed my bar burger and that's all that matters to me. Did I mention this is a great place for cheap eats? Very inexpensive.

They have a wide variety of beers and and when we spoke with the server, he told us the philosophy of Pigeon Hill is to brew quality beers with consistent quality. We paid 90 something dollars for a veggie platter, to have wilted tomatoes, dry carrots and no broccoli. We paid 15 dollars a pizza to have the pizza just to be cold and small. If i recall it was only a 12 inch personal pizza for 15 bucks.. And the chicken in the pot was soggy because they steamed it for an hour before we where able to access it. We noticed a safety hazard and made sure management noted it for when we leave and not shortly after that they jacked up the music very very loud intending to kick us out. Overall we where really disappointed and would not recommend this place for a get together.
