Almost $60 for the worst food and service I've ever had. Braden was not only a terrible waiter but talked back to his customers and blamed the kitchen. OMG Do not go here. I was in shock when officers approached me for a "complaint" here:…read more I was talking on my phone to a friend (unrelated to anything or anyone at the bar - Stocks and Crypto) Someone listening to what I was saying on my phone- to my friend: They made it as a personal attack at "them" and made a false police report. So as I was about to order a second drink; they or the bar called the cops on me, and the cops escorted me in pretense of being charged with "trespassing". (no valid facts, proof, or witnesses). I am barred or banned from this place. Which in my opinion: The place is doing me favor, so I wouldn't become a "regular" part of the crowd. I should, but don't want to spend "my time" or "my money" by suing the establishment: On the grounds of discrimination of "creed". Instead - This is their reward on yelp. Update: More to the "experience", I got a hold of the police department - My "crime": On the speaker phone outside of the bar; which a patron was "threaten" by my "presence" there: That's "creed"- which "bothered" them. update: I got a hold of the police department, my "crime": Taking on speaker phone- outside of the bar to my friend, and originally was alone in my own space at a table. Thank-you. I will let everyone know they "may not" be welcomed there.

It was a bunch of middle aged country boys dropping countless F-bombs in front of the female bartender / cook / waitress. I felt bad for her, but she didn't seem to care and I eventually got focused on getting a bar burger from this hardcore country bumpkin tavern. I had a cheeseburger and a Pabst Blue Ribbon as well as mozzarella sticks. The burger was really cheap, like $2.75 or something incredibly low. It was very good and reason to return. Of course they had no craft beer, but I knew that walking in the door when I saw what looked like a half dozen Grizzly Adams impersonators wondering who the stranger was. The waitress / bartender was pleasant and attentive and I enjoyed my bar burger and that's all that matters to me. Did I mention this is a great place for cheap eats? Very inexpensive.

As a non local, I had hoped to experience some level of treatment in line with what just about everyone else in the bar was experiencing. The first two times I was in Lakeshore, I was feeling like I was not welcome by the female bartender and that unfortunately echos my sentiment on the evening male bartenders demeanor toward me. I absolutely love this place!…read more The Brewers lounge has such a nice atmosphere with a large inside bar, plenty of seating, and a large patio space. Pro Tip: bring your furry friends to hangout with you on the patio! Kid friendly too! There's ample parking on the side and back of the building. There's also spaces designated for Harvest Host campers! They host a lot of activities such as Run Muskegon, Trivia, and Dart league. The beer menu is always changing so there's always something new to try! The kitchen staff is also excellent. The main menu is wonderful, and their weekly specials are ALWAYS so good. I think my favorite foods have been the panini's and quesadilla. Everything is very customizable for anyone with allergies, dietary restrictions, or just specific tastes! There are also a couple different vodka mixed drinks, a cider or two, non-alcoholic beers, some wines, and sodas for those not into beer! They also open up the Brewhouse sometimes so people can go back and see all of the brewing equipment and canning line. That's where the dart boards are too. 10/10 if you're in Muskegon, it's gotta be on your go-to list!
