My family usually just orders pizza for carry out here, but we decided we wanted other things besides pizza and chose to eat inside. We started with the Italian cheese bread and it is always really good, but today it was better than usual. Our server was super nice and checked on us often. Our drinks were always full. I had a burger, my daughter the chicken Alfredo and my son and husband had pizza. My burger was delicious. It was cooked exactly how I asked. Love the onion petals, the grilled jalapeño, and the bun. My daughter enjoyed her Alfredo. It was creamy and saucy and she said the pasta was cooked perfect. My son and husband always love the pizza, so they enjoyed their meals. The floor at the table next to us was filthy. With chunks of pizza and garbage from a previous party still there throughout our entire meal. They even sat a party there with all of that mess and I couldn't believe it. That was the only thing that was a slight *problem*. The pizza is decent. They are known for their Grand finally pizza. If you like a zero flop pizza, this isn't it. It is thin crust but all of those toppings are just dripping everywhere. Great flavor but the texture is lacking. I would go with the basic pepperoni pizza to try to maintain some of the crunch off the crust. The other food is typical bar food. read more

Their pizza has always been worth going back for. We have over the last 25 years. People (staff) are friendly while serving us -Always. Only draw back I can think of is recently (post COVID) I have called and plaster an order. Letting them know I will be there at a certain time to pick it up. When I get there to pick up order. It isn't ready . Which means I wait another 20 plus minutes waiting for them to make order, I realize they are short staffed and have expressed their regrets. They like many restaurants are doing everything they can do to rebuild their team. Timely orders included. So I don't mind being patience why they go through this rebuilding faze. If you go eat at this establishment you won't regret it and will be treated well. read more

I usually love this place. Usually visit every 4-8 weeks as it has nice handicap accessibility and good food. Trust me. I am ranked in Yelp as a duke if more than 4 north side establishments. Tonight however I felt ripped off. We bought the burger and beer special that came with a Miller light. 2 of them. They were out if Miller lite. The waitress gave me a choice to have 3 hearted as a sub. In a six ounce glass of course. Agreed. We ultimately were charged for a full hint of two hearted and no credit for the drafts that came with the special. There was no attempt to correct this after it was questioned. Other than the waitress agreeing it seemed wrong. I made note on the receipt and gave the waitress a standard 20% tip. read more

Fantastic quality! First timer. I'm not sure why some people are dissatisfied with this place, this is some of the most flavorful pizza Muskegon, and there is a lot of good pizza in Muskegon. No surprise, it's very similar to its sister company, Glenside Pub. I would say 4.5 stars, but since you can only do 4 or 5, I will give it 5 because everybody else has been so unjustly harsh (in my opinion). Note: As for the photo from someone of the small pizza in the large box, my guess would be they were out of small boxes? No company would short change people that much. Hope this helps! Apparently enough reviews haven't yet kicked in such that the law of averages can take over and give you a more reliable view of this place... Ah, I see there are but three reviews here. Let me add my three stars... Been here several times, and every occasion has been solid. For my money, Northside Pub has always delivered on its promises. Fast, adequate service, worthwhile food, and a relaxed atmosphere that is friendly to both families and bar fans. Any of these are warrant enough to hit up the Pub, but here's the REAL reason I marvel at this place: THE GRAND FINALE pizza. This is a delectable masterpiece that routinely demands I order one every time I'm back home for a visit. (I live in Hawaii now, and the thing I miss most about Muskegon is the Grand Finale.) They even offer FRESH mushrooms (vs. canned) on the thing. And it's huge. It's one of the rare few pizzas that continues to taste AMAZING out of your fridge the next morning. If Northside Pub sold only the Grand Finale, I'd throw stars at the place. It's hands-down my favorite pizza in all of Muskegon County. Similar versions have been featured over the years at establishments like Someplace Else Pizza (and its "sequels") and Lakeside Pub. These are all worth trying as well (if they still exist). In the meantime, know that Northside Pub stands ready to satisfy your Grand Finale-craving hunger. (My family often orders two for takeout whenever we all get together--everyone fights over the leftovers!) Rest of the place is your typical family-friendly restaurant. Decent beer and bar stocks, basic perch dinners and restaurant fare, and so on. And the prices are very reasonable. read more

We ordered a small pizza and breadsticks it came out to 16.25$ Well the pizza was like a personal pan pizza from subway and the breadsticks were burnt. I usually go here with my grandparents every once in a wile we've only had a few minor problems before like once they gave us breadsticks that were frozen in the middle and then another time they forgot about our breadsticks I will never go back after this tho.!!!! read more

I absolutely love Fricano's pizza! This is a close 2nd. I've never tried anything else, but their prices are very fair. Looking forward to dining in soon. My friend and I stopped by on 9/11/2016 around 5pm. It wasn't too busy and were seated right away. Since I moved out of town I hadn't been here in quite awhile so was good to be back. THE FOOD I had the Philly Steak and it was delicious and came out hot. The steak had good flavor, was not greasy at all and not salty. The size of the sandwich and amount of fries were perfect for me and I am not a small man. My beer was cold and tasty. The price was decent and ordering fries instead of having chips was a good price.... Only .75 for fries when other places charge at least twice that. THE STAFF Jodi was our waitress and could not have done better. Visited table often enough to make sure our drinks were ok and we didn't need anything. read more

Food is good. Service is marginal. I have been informing management for 2 years that the silverware the customers are forced to use is the cheapest Chinese flatware that the U.S. dollar can buy. Just got back from dinner and the edges of the fork handles are so sharp that they cut into your hands while trying to cut dinner. Management id deaf and blind to this, even after 2 years od reminders. If you plan to eat there, bring your own place setting. I will in (if there is a) future. read more

We stopped into the Northside Pub and were shocked by the run down building. The booth we sat in was very uncomfortable because of the worn out seat springs. The music was skipping the entire time we were there. The tv's have a significant delay between them. It's like watching everything with instant replay. The worst part was the lighting pulsing from bright to dim. It gave my wife and I each a headache. My guess is that when something large like the furnace or dishwasher are running, the building just doesn't have enough power to keep up. The food was ok, nothing special. The owners have obviously given up and don't care anymore. I will say the wait staff was nice and helpful. No need to go back, that's for sure. read more

First off I have to say, the Grand Finale' pizza is one of our most favorite pizza's around. It is not often my kids, grand kids & family friends can get together at the same time for dinner, but when we can, I call around for reservations to see who can get all 12 of us in, especially on a Friday night. Yesterday late afternoon I was told Northside had room, therefore, I made the reservation. Upon arriving, we were shown a table for 8 and another separate one, but in close proximity, for 4. I mentioned to the waitress the reservation was for 12 person's at the table, not separate tables. She stated 8 had to sit at one and 4 at the other. When I asked to speak to the manager, she rolled her eyes, huffed, turned around and shook her head as she walked away (there went her tip!). The manager explained the table of 4 could not be placed with the table of 8 due to fire regulations, but said if we wanted to move the tables around to work for all 12 we could (hmmmm...guess doing the work ourselves is not a fire hazard?). She also said she'd talk with her waitress about her behavior. Appetizers & pizza were awesome as usual (although we did look for spit in our food) and beer cold, however, not once did we get an apology from the waitress....or the manager. While we still like the food, our group will look for a different place next time we get together. read more

A group of friends and I went into Northside Pub today (around 6pm on Sunday), and our experience was far from good. My boyfriend and I have been in there before and enjoyed ourselves, but this time was much different. Our waitress was either trained poorly, or just didn't care about her job. One of our appetizers was sold out, and she failed to inform us until I approached her at the counter because we needed refills Instead of asking if we wanted something different, she just walked away and I had to literally chase after her. Also, she walked away from our table before we were done ordering, without saying a word. Nothing like "anything else?" or "will that be all?" Nothing. So we also had to chase her down to even finish our order. I am a waitress myself, so I know how it is to deal with rude customers who are never happy..that is not the case with me. I understand when a place is busy and people make mistakes, I do it too! but the way she acted was uncalled for, and it made dinner much less enjoyable. On top of that, there were about...7 other tables in the restaurant at this time, 4 of which had finished their meals already. The food was great, but if I hadn't been to the place once before and HAD had good service, I would not recommend or step foot in this place again. read more

We have been going to Northside for many years and have NEVER had a bad experience. Pizza always good, breadsticks good and salad very fresh. The ONLY thing I'd ask to change is the music. No everyone likes country, but we aren't there for the music. Prices are very reasonable, especially the beer and pizza. Coming from Chicago it's refreshing to see more reasonable prices. We think it's a worthy place to visit whether a local or on vacation. Enjoy!! read more
