Although I miss the former place it was exciting to get out and try the new refresh of this venue with the new brand around Raven. Overall the inside looked amazing - down to the lighting and paint all coming together to bring a calm and mysterious vibe in the room. The food itself was absolutely amazing - with the standouts being the deviled eggs for the app, spicy lobster bisque for 2nd course, and the twin lobster tails for the main. The mashed potatoes were a great side as well. The dessert was pretty amazing and a very rich chocolate cake! Beverages were fun as well. The points of feedback here are: 1) reservations. we booked through resy, with the choice of lounge or dining area. we picked this well over a week in advance and were still given the lounge in spite of picking the dining area. When we tried to address this with the staff it was pretty much a "that's too bad, it's full, go look", to which after that the manager came to smooth it over with making the apps free. Which, is fine for a one-off, but please fix this and honor it (or remove the choice altogether). 2) prices - some of the food items seemed to be equal or above to some of the more expensive places in knoxville (e.g. ruth's chris, flemings) if not above on a couple. Not sure if this is supply chain, tarrifs, etc. I just hope these price points for some of the meat-based mains are not a turnoff. again, everything was amazing, but just above what is normal for other venues. We hope to be back soon and continue to read of good reviews from others. Definitely worth a try - just don't hold your breath on lounge vs. dining room! :)

Our first time here and we will definitely be back! The drinks, the food, the service were all stellar. We've tried a few nice restaurants all around Knoxville and this one was by far the best yet. We had a reservation and our table was delayed from the previous party not leaving. They gave us 2 free appetizers to make it up to us. Onion rings and the pork belly - both delicious!!

A great night at The Raven! The host seated us right away, and our server immediately introduced himself--great start. We ordered the Raven Salad, Onion Tower, and Beef Wellington, and wow... they did not disappoint. Everything was absolutely delicious. There's an annoying lady with her friends talking a bit loud and I am actually surprised no one came up to her to remind her she isn't in a pep rally, but aside from that, the experience was fantastic! This place used to be Diamond Jack.

This was our first visit to Raven to celebrate our Anniversary. We did book reservations ahead of time, our table was ready exactly at reservation time. Our waitress Molly was fantastic and knowledgeable about the menu when we had questions. The mood in the restaurant was great, people talking and laughing, eating and low music playing. All of our food was delicious, everything was cooked perfectly. We will absolutely be back!

The Raven is the best new spot in downtown Maryville. Great atmosphere, kind/knowledgeable staff, delicious food & drinks. Andrew was our server and he took such great care of us. I definitely recommend the Crimson Mirage cocktail, wedge salad, prime filet, lobster Mac & cheese & the indulgent chocolate cake.

I especially like the restaurant atmosphere. It's very comfortable, upper scale and no matter how packed you can have a conversation with your table mates and everyone can be heard. The bar has most of the standards...even higher end options. It never ceases to irk me that they either don't carry Hendricks gin or are always out. Must try dish at Bella is Pasta in the Wheel. I really like that they take reservations; it gives the whole place a true date night vibe. We started with the truffle fries, which are always a great choice (Added ranch on the side of course). Next time I'm definitely planning to try the artichokes and Brussels sprouts: they looked amazing coming out to other tables. For drinks, I tried the Greenway seasonal cocktail and it was my favorite of the night--really well balanced and something I'd order again without hesitation. I also sampled the cucumber basil martini, which was fine but not quite as good even though it's in a similar flavor profile. The Gold Coast was another solid option, just very strong and on the boozier side. Food-wise, I probably should have stuck with what they do best (the pasta and cheese wheel with added chicken) but I tried the mushroom rigatoni instead. It had a good base flavor, but it was a bit heavy on the pepper the night I went, which overpowered it for me. I'd skip that one next time. I'm curious to go back and try the short rib or the vodka sauce pasta instead. To finish, the chocolate pot de crème was perfect: rich, smooth, and just the right portion. If you only want a few bites of dessert, it's ideal. Overall, Bella is still a go-to for me, especially for a nice dinner or date night atmosphere.

Thankfully the server made the entire experience great. She has served us multiple times and understands our special needs for our son. *We'll definitely be back, but I this industry will not survive "expecting" 20% and doing that to guests. (That servers we had will always get a generous tip from us) ***It's gong to come down to asking to be sat in specific server's section.

I looked high and low for a place that serves 'Nduja (spreadable salami) in Knoxville/ surrounding areas, and Amici is where I found it. It isn't something that you can find easily here, so I was excited to take him here, knowing he would be excited. We had a corner table, I sat on the booth side, which i'm 5'5, but the booth is a bit tall, so I couldn't place my feet on the floor. It honestly didn't bother me, there were pillows to prop for the bench seating and I was fine. We started with an appetizer (which I really wanted to try) the Arancini. Just WOW, they were big in size, and absolutely mouthwatering, flavorful and delectable. They were perfectly fried, were crisp, just the right hotness, and the pomodoro could be eaten by the spoonful. Honestly everything was great, but that appetizer still has me thinking about it. I ordered the Fig and Prosciutto pizza on sourdough and my boyfriend ordered a Four Cheese with 'Nduja. My pizza was good, sweet, salty and savory. He enjoyed his 'Nduja, but it was a bit different consistency that he was used to. They did say they made it in house which was nice for authenticity. For his birthday we ordered the Zeppole (its like a fried donut with a lemon glaze) - not my forte personally, because if it's not chocolate it isn't worth the calories- but it's not my birthday, hah. He absolutely loved the Zeppole and had dreams about. Over all we had a pleasant experience. Trust me, don't sleep on those Arancini.

The restaurant was severely understaffed with just one server handling the entire restaurant and one bartender. There wasn't even a restaurant manager on duty. Service suffered badly as a result. Our waitress was clearly overwhelmed and rushed, so she couldn't properly take our order or answer questions. We waited forever for refills of our drinks so we were parched and no lemonade for our children. They also ran out of basic items: silverware, and other items. The worst part was the cleanliness. The rug by the entrance by the front doors was filthy -- solid black with crud. The dining room floors were just as bad, with black food stuck to the ground. Address: 1139 Franck St. Alcoa, TN 37701 Food: 5/5 I got the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich, and it's the best chicken sandwich in Blount County! Perfectly crispy and sauced. The flavors are great, and it's cooked excellently every single time. The fries were also very good and seasoned well. My mom got the Bacon Jam Burger, and she absolutely loved it! Great flavors, but the one thing she would change is having the bacon cooked more so it's crispy instead of floppy. We also got the Nachos for an appetizer, and they were honestly the best nachos I've ever had! The chili and jalapeño cheese sauce were the stars of the dish, and the chips were perfect and didn't break at all. What impressed me the most was that the last time my mom got the nachos, they were not very appealing, but this time around the presentation was spot on. This tells me that this restaurant listens to criticism and fixes its mistakes/issues. ‍ Service: 5/5 Matthew was our server today, and he did a great job! Service was fast, and the staff did an excellent job informing us about additions to the menu. Atmosphere: 5/5 This restaurant is always clean, and the vibes are amazing.
