Fishing, paddleboats and lots of walking areas and doggy park. The frogs, crickets and cicadas serenade you to sleep at night. Fun to watch the ducks and geese in the pond too. The best shady sites in my opinion are; #42,#43,#51,#52,#70&#72. We look forward to coming back here again and will let others know about this wonderful place in Mississippi. Just an FYI for future campers, you will receive an e-mail after your first night in the park, "inviting you stay another night" and if you choose to stay another night the e-mail offers you $10 off, I did not see the e-mail until we left the park so the nice cashier did Not give me $10 off, that is obviously my fault for not keeping up on my e-mails. Curious as to why the camp manager crammed all the campers right next to each other (3 ft between campers) when there were obviously 25 open spots across the road to where she could have spaced us all a few sites apart? Did not like that and I am sure my next door neighbor campers did not like hearing each others doors open/close & other common noises. Should take one star away for that.

Even if you don't own ANY camping gear, you could either buy it there on the spot or rent it! Everyone from the park is VERY friendly! Everyone from the park admin, to security, to Yogi himself!!! You all made our stay wonderful! They have everything set up for a great time with family! The lake is the main attraction to this area but there is SO MUCH MORE than that. You have your kiddy playgrounds, pool, miniature golf, boats to explore the lake, fishing, golf carts equipped with off road tires to explore the grounds, cabins, and THAT'S not even mentioning all the activities they have planned for all around the clock fun such as MOVIE times with snacks, KARAOKE, and so much more that we didn't even get to check out because ALL our time was taken up with park activities! And if your not in the mood for making food around the campfire, their a cafeteria and snack bar on the premises that you can refuel, cool down and enjoy some arcade fun at! :D Highly recommend this park for everyone! :D

Everytime you plugged something into an outlet, it sparked. This place is just asking for an insurance claim of fire. It rained the day we got there, and there is nothing but sand clay dirt of a mess. Need to gravel them roads to avoid just a mess of mud on ground. Patio doors had no locks so not a good feeling to be safe with kids on a lake. NO INTERNET AT ALL. I am not sure why they even have tv's in cabins to think it would work. Your phone hotspot won't even work there. Food was cheap but out of everything. Didn't even have sugar. The Kids activities sucked. Art class consisted of giving one sea shell and some wal-mart paint. Dance party was non-existant. Waterslide is not huge. It is just plasic down a small hill. Everything you do is an extra cost. The water park is fine if you do day pass but the price of actually staying there is not worth it. The staff (which are very younger) are actually very nice and trained to say, I'm sorry, very well. so kuddo's on that piece of customer service! PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Explained that the water to the bathhouses wasn't working but we could choose our space. He drove us over to show us the spaces, said they are in the middle of some big improvements, including putting in a pond. He gave my husband a couple of their logo shirts and hats and then he didn't even charge us for our space. Just after we parked, the owner called and said that he did have an open cabin and that we could use the shower in it if we would like to. He drove back over and gave us the key for the night. Amazing service!! Good people looking to make good improvements! Very quiet park.

On the plus side, the lady who checked us in was very nice in person as well as on the phone. There isa WII FI hot spot but no internet access. We used thehot spots on our phones which was a little sketchy as Verizon was 4g 1-3 bars depending on where you were standing. Satellite should be okay as there are very few trees. Mostly long term renters but most wereneat with a couple of odd exceptions.. All gravel roads and sites although they could use more. Spacing was ok with some grass in between sites. It could be messy if it has rained. We could not use the sewer as we couldn't reach it even with two hoses. And we had to use all 25 feet of the electric cord. Not sure about other sites. There is some noise from interstate off in the distance. Quite a few early risers for work but not that intrusive. Very reasonably priced.

Even though the freeway is right next to it we could barely hear it from our site, which was a long, cement back in opening to a hill. Lots of trees, a pool, and a small dog park. The folks who ran it were super nice and helpful as well which is very important to me. I'd stay here again if we were over that way.
