He opened his office early and stopped everything he was doing so he could try to resolve a stressful and time sensitive issue. Matt gave us great advice and followed-up with us after the weekend. Though this wasn't an issue for Matt and our carrier, he did go out of his way to be sure we got the customer service needed because we were simply one of his clients. Thanks Matt! I was recently searching for the phone number of the Matt Roberts Agency as I needed to discuss…read moresome upcoming changes to my policies when I came upon the previous review. I sympathize with the previous reviewer as it seems it's been a rough time and year for her and her family. However, my experience with the Matt Roberts Agency, and Tina in particular, has been quite different so I felt the need to share my experience with them. Several years ago, I made the decision to move my policies from another carrier. During that process, I spoke with both Tina and the owner, Matt Roberts. Based on my conversations with them, I decided to move my home and auto policies to Erie Insurance. Their rates are tough to beet by any of the larger insurance firms within Erie Insurance footprint. Earlier this year, we had hail storms pass through the Charlotte area, and my roof was damaged in the process. Prior to contacting a roofing contractor, I reached out to Tina to discuss the issue and determine next steps. She was very helpful in providing a clear and concise "next steps" timeline. She also provided information on the things I should be looking for in a roofing contractor. Once I decided on a contractor, she assisted with scheduling an appointment with the adjuster and my contractor. With the extensive damage on the roof, the adjuster recommended a new roof be installed. The process was very smooth from end to end, and I'm quite happy with the new roof that was installed. No more leaks! Tina and the agency have always been quick to provide quotes on changes I plan to execute with my policies. I recently dropped a vehicle from my policy as well, and lost the multi car discount provided by Erie Insurance. This isn't unusual and the same thing is done by my previous insurers as well. I think it's important to realize that decision is made by the insurer, not the agency itself. I will add that Tina was quick to answer any questions I had during this process, and was prompt with sending updated quotes for my review. I hope those reading these reviews will consider the experience I've had with the Matt Roberts Agency. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to my friends and family.

Update -- extremely disappointing turn of events…read more After an incredible start with Brewer Insurance Group, things took a drastic turn about six months in. What began as excellent service quickly spiraled into a mess of unreturned calls, broken promises, and flat-out negligence. On multiple occasions, brokers called to verify my hazmat coverage, only to be told I wasn't covered which was completely false. That mistake alone cost me thousands of dollars and left my truck parked all weekend. That kind of error doesn't just hurt a carrier's bottom line -- it destroys their reputation. The professionalism that Niki once showed vanished as my account bounced between Moriah, Casey, and Steve none of whom seemed capable of following through or even answering a simple phone call. Casey, in particular, went as far as claiming he'd called me back and was "working on quotes," yet weeks went by with nothing. Meanwhile, brokers started shutting me out because my renewal was hanging in limbo. Even repeated calls to "managers" and "supervisors" went unanswered. The lack of accountability and communication from this company is astounding. What once felt like a trustworthy partner has become a nightmare unprofessional, unreliable, and completely dismissive of the customers who keep them in business. If you value your time, your reputation, and your livelihood think twice before trusting Brewer Insurance Group.

Most recently, they made it nearly impossible to switch out a rental vehicle, demanding a lease agreement for a truck that wasn't even leased in the first place. It feels like they're intentionally throwing up roadblocks and giving me the runaround instead of offering real solutions. This experience has been unprofessional, stressful, and costly. I do not feel supported or protected as a customer, and I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone in the transportation industry--or any industry, for that matter. Avoid if you value transparency and efficiency.
