Quite literally the worst Vinyl store experience I've ever had. Most of the records are not priced all the prices are looked up are looked online. I understand if youre business is understaffed but if you can't properly grade and price your records do not put them out on the shelves. How can a person make an informed decision when buying records if the prices are arbitrary? read more

What an incredible store! Went in for my first time today and the selection was incredible and were complimented by outstanding prices! The staff is friendly and understand what it is to be an insatiable collector of music. I could spend hours here! They offer super unique patches and stickers along side their wide array of vinyls! I only wish to see stores like this prosper! Truly created for customer satisfaction! I will be spending much more of my time and money here rather than at Riversides infamous "Mad Platter!" As an aside, I walked out with original pressings of "Space Oddity - David Bowie", "The Times They Are a Changing - Bob Dylan" and "The Best of Elton John - Elton John." What a fun day for music! Great selection of music. Vinyl records are well organized. There are shirts, stickers, buttons, cds, vinyls, posters, etc. When checking out, the vinyl record I was buying was not marked so the owner checked online prices. He asked if there were any other copies of the record with a price tag on it which I did find one priced $35. He then showed me the online prices for the record which were priced at minimum $71. He could of just asked for market price but instead honored what he had them priced at. I will definitely be picking up more vinyl records here. read more

Shop is beautiful and filled with records. Unfortunately, I waited about 30 mins- an hour just to check out. Some of the records aren't priced and during my visit, I had to wait to get my records checked out. I was told that I will be called when my records were priced but literally had to wait 30-60 minutes to get my records. Meanwhile people were checking out that arrived after me and I waited a long time to get my records priced. They should finish with one guests before moving on to the next. Totally not cool. Other than that, beautiful record place and tones of records but majority of records are over priced. You're better off going to the Glasshouse Record Store in Pomona. read more

Pretty good selection of Jazz music at this location. I brought in some of the records I don't listen to and was able to trade them in. Don't remember the owners name but he is a pretty fare guy and will make a deal with you. You may not get the price you are hoping for, but he also has a business to run. This has become my favorite place to get records in riverside as others have shut down or are way over priced. read more

I checked out Rat Hole Records yesterday for the first time. I met Chris at the door, who was really cool right away and welcomed me and my son into the shop. Great selection of vinyls, tons of stickers and patches, and a very authentic feel. Seems to cater largely to punk rock, which is great because that's exactly what my son and I came there for. Chris is willing to help promote local bands and even indulged me telling him about one such band with a similar mascot to the Rat Hole Records mascot. I would definitely recommend coming down and checking out the shop if you've never been there before. I know I will be back to buy more stuff from Rat Hole Records soon enough! read more

I recommend this place if you appreciate music and fantastic customer service. I found a cool Pentagram shirt (for metal doom lovers), and a bunch of unique stickers. A bit hard to find but once you do find this place it's a gem! It's down an alleyway and the entrance looks like the back of the place until you see the mannequin standing sentry out front. When my girlfriend and I entered the manager Chris was very obliging, friendly, and informative. I was in awe with the variety of this store that was well arranged in a small wherehouse. What did I get? Woodstock (music from the original soundtrack and more) in fine fettle and only seven dollars! Also The Doors L.A. Woman, Grateful Dead's Wake of the Flood, Prince's Controversy, and The Time's What Time is It. There is also a great jazz, blues, and soul section and a variety of shirts, patches, etc. I was impressed with this place and it's lay back vibe. Not into corporate vinyl stores so this small unassuming hole in the wall suited my taste perfectly. I highly recommend The Rat Hole! read more

Such a nice place ! Here you could find a little bit of everything from Celine Dion to Slayer and anything in between . Good selection of music stickers , buttons and even a few patches and shirts . Not a lot of cassettes if you're into that . Also they got a few record players on sale for a reasonable price . Like any indie record store prices of vinyl can go from your typical $1-5 bucks hidden gems to newer releases of special editions ranging up to $60 . The person at the counter was gently and knowledgeable and sometimes is willing to give you a discount . So...it doesn't matter if you listen to the current top 40 or some indie rock/pop band that only you and 3 of your friends know about ,chances are there's something for you at this record store . read more

I was there Saturday it's a very cool place a lot of out of print punk stuff and metal it's very cool, but had a small problem I bought a bunch of stuff and some buttons along with records puts the records in the bag I don't know if there was a joke in the bag before or what but when I got home I had buttons and the bag had a whole in thinking I would check my car no buttons and I can neither confirm or deny if they buttons were out in the bag so I called thinking maybe they drop in the store and I called and when I told them what happen they didn't seem to care what I got over the phone was sucks for you but not in those actual words but if I dropped them That's my fault but I'm pretty sure they didn't look either and they were big buttons not blaming anyone juts saying if he forgot to put them in the bag hey that's happens I'm over going crazy like they just didn't disappear right.
