But all of them are pretty overpriced - not just for the quality of the record but in comparison to other shops. I saw records that you can easily find a VG or VG+ copy for $15-20 priced double that or more. As well, it doesn't appear that they clean their records as the several that I got were very dirty. All in all a nice shop and nice people but I won't shop there again because of the very inflated pricing.

The gentleman who helped me wasn't high and was really versed on hip-hop and provided great conversation on the recent Czarface and Frankie Pulitzer release. I used to go the old Claremont location when I lived in the area, and staff there was just as helpful. I'd say that the new store has maintained its customer service. The used Shania cd was $2.99, and the new Methodman cd was $12.99. Not bad at all. I'd definitely come back again when I'm in town.

My boyfriend is in one of the bands that played here which they've played once before. We recently got into comics and reading again so we went in to supper their bookstore. The staff was very welcoming and helpful when we walked in the store. There were so many book organized into their own sections. This made the book easier to look through. Recently I've been into horror book and that section did not disappoint. I ended up getting Stephen King's Pet Cemetery. The prices of the book were on the lower side which was very nice!. As for the concert aspect, it was another amazing hard core show. The bands were amazing and I have to give some love to the staff running the concert. A fight broke out and two members of the staff took care of it. They kicked the guy out who started it and was there for the guy that got hurt. Overall this is an amazing location and I will be back for another concert/book shopping session.

I looked up "records" on Yelp since I've been looking to rebuild my music collection with the termination of Spotify. It's got this old school arcade vibe, but there's a small rack with CDs, a section for records, another section for manga, merch and t-shirts in the back, and old school video games, consoles, and other stuff you can buy. There are two cabinets that allow you to pick games that you want to play, but don't take too long or you'll lose your credit. These games take quarters, so that's my gripe and what the minus one star is for. The workers here are cool and chill. There's a vending machine for snacks. I'll probably come by again one day when I'm in the area. It reminds of of the small arcades back in the day, so it's a nice trip to Nostalgia Town. There were two buddies who came in and got what sounded like was $20 worth of quarters to play. That was really awesome to hear a big chunk of quarters get dispensed. Have fun if you go!

My teenager wanted to pick up a few vinyls, and since I'd been meaning to check this place out…read more(it's right in our area), it felt like the perfect opportunity to stop by. As soon as we walked in, there was a live stream going on, and the cashier came across pretty loud and a bit intimidating, at least from my teenager's perspective. To keep things simple, I just told him to grab what he was looking for and we'd head out. While he browsed, I ended up finding a couple of records for myself too. The shop itself is really cool and has a unique vibe, different from other record stores I've visited. It's not your typical setup, which makes it stand out in a good way. I also noticed the building is a historic landmark. All in all, it was a unique experience, and I'm glad we stopped in.
