Dessert: I absolutely love hojicha, and this was easily one of the strongest hojicha-flavored desserts I've had! The bingsu was soft, and the cream inside was the perfect addition. The portion was also surprisingly generous and packed pretty full, making it more than enough for the four of us to share. Seating: There's plenty of seating inside. Parking: Street parking in the nearby area was pretty difficult, so we ended up using the $5 valet service in the plaza. Convenient, but definitely not my favorite parking situation. I really loved the Hojicha Bingsu and would absolutely come back for it. The parking is honestly the only thing that makes me hesitate!

I tried their Matcha Cloud Latte and it was pretty good! I was surprised with how good it was. Good matcha flavor that wasn't dry and topped with a creamy and tasty matcha cream top. Definitely a hidden gem for a good matcha drink. I also tried my friend's Brown Sugar Miso Latte and that was tasty as well. Sweet and umami. The interior is clean, nice, and roomy. Great spot for a post-meal dessert or hanging out at. I believe there's outlets and wifi as well. Overall, a good experience here and this spot will always remain in my rotation!

I also love that it's sweet without being overwhelmingly sweet, so you can actually enjoy the flavors without feeling like it's too much. One thing I really appreciate about this place is that they offer smaller versions of each flavor instead of making you commit to the bigger size. It's perfect if you want to try different flavors or just want a little something sweet without ordering a huge bowl. service is honestly nonexistent cus you order from the kiosk and the workers are always behind the curtain. Definitely a great spot for Korean shaved ice, especially if you love that super light and fluffy texture!

The staff seemed very tired and exhausted. Although the bingsu was already a little sweet even without adding extra syrup, I still enjoyed it. However, the music was extremely loud--so loud that I could barely hear the staff when they were speaking. I was actually a little concerned about the hearing of the employees who have to work there for several hours every day. Because the music was so loud, we couldn't comfortably eat in the main dining area, so we moved to a small room in the back. It was quiet there because there was no music, but unfortunately, there were quite a few mosquitoes flying around. We all got bitten by mosquitoes. As for parking, there was a sign that said "Parking at Rear," but the parking area behind the building cost $5. Overall, I enjoyed the bingsu, and the staff was okay, but the extremely loud music, $5 parking and the mosquitoes in the back room made the experience less comfortable. I'm not sure if I would come back again.

At least when I went, depends who is working in the back? Perfectly ripened fruit ... how can they achieve this consistently for everyone that comes in? The staff were super friendly, and the place was clean, including the restrooms, which is always a plus. The only downside? The service was sloooow. You definitely need some patience if you're eating here. I get it--it was packed and they were super busy--but if you're on a tight schedule, I'd suggest skipping it. Because it was so crowded, it was a bit noisy and chaotic, but overall still a nice spot.

A hidden gem for vegan shaved ice lovers in West Hollywood!…read more First off, the shop itself is SO cute! It's spacious, aesthetically pleasing, and has such a fun, unique concept. I loved how beautiful everything looked, especially the shaved ice! the little details are seriously adorable! I've seen some mixed reviews mentioning that the shaved ice is too light or has an airy texture, so I went in curious about what I would think. As someone who's pretty picky with desserts and matcha, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed everything! I tried their strawberry coconut shaved ice and matcha shaved ice, along with their matcha and berry Blockshakes. The shaved ice has a very light, delicate, almost feathery texture rather than the traditional snowy texture you might be used to. The strawberry was my personal favorite, and I loved the unique flavor of the matcha shaved ice, which had a subtle chocolatey note to me. They also add the cutest little gluten-free cookie on top, and you can choose extra toppings like sweet red bean and coconut bites. The coconut bites are a MUST! They add such a nice texture and extra flavor. The Blockshakes were another fun surprise! They're such a unique addition to the menu, and I love that there are different flavors to choose from. Their matcha drinks also use Rocky's Matcha, which is a huge plus for matcha lovers like me! Another thing I appreciated is that everything is vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free, and made without artificial colors or flavors. I honestly felt good enjoying everything I ordered because I loved that I could treat myself to something delicious while still choosing plant-based options. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at Mewame! Between the cute atmosphere, creative desserts, and unique drinks, it's definitely worth checking out if you're in West Hollywood and looking for something different!

We originally were trying to come here and get some shaved ice, but they told us they had already closed that part of the kitchen. Luckily they still offered cakes and drinks. The free wifi here must be very handy. There's restrooms located for customers in the back and they were pretty clean. I think there's so much more for me to try out from the menu. The tiramisu cake was a yummy blend of soft and moist bitter cake with creamy and fluffy frosting. I enjoyed the sweet kick of the mango smoothie I got. Parking is pretty difficult, and valet is $5. I can easily see the parking lot getting gridlocked on a busy day. I sampled a few of their gelato flavors, including the jasmine lychee and soy sauce. Both were okay, but I just wasn't in the mood for either of them today. I ended up getting the Pandan Toast to try. The pandan flavor was really good--not too grassy and didn't taste too artificial. The ice cream also had a buttery taste to it. It might have been from the toast, but I'm not too sure. The bread itself wasn't oily, which was nice, but it was kind of dry. The pandan sauce definitely helped make it easier to eat. I probably wouldn't eat the bread by itself though because it was super hard and didn't really have much flavor. I wasn't sure what to expect from the toast, but it wasn't quite what I expected. I originally wanted to try the mango sticky rice flavored shaved ice because it looked really good in the photos, but unfortunately they didn't have it today. I'd come back to try their shaved ice when mango is in season again!
