NO ONE who knows pizza won't say at the very least that this places pizza isn't anything less than excellent. I had two slices, a square with FRESH HOMEMADE ricotta and spicy honey and a margarita with pepperoni. Crust on both were over the top and ingredients also excellent. I'm a chef by trade and have experience making Neapolitan pizza. Although this is more along the lines of a New York slice, it's different but just as good. So happy I found this place as most pizza in the area is either not so good or adequate at best. Now the young gentleman behind the counter is personality plus!!! This pizzeria is one of the last great food establishments of its kind left. The pizza was incredible , the dough was perfectly crispy on the bottom and soft in the middle. The sauce was sweet to the taste and the toppings was fresh and well chosen for quality. The service was exception to say the least. I ordered here for the first and last time a normal sized round plain pie and it was basically your high school cafeteria pizza, but worse because this costs way more. To finish it off, it has zombie customer service. This is just another one of those places that does could care less about it's quality because of its convenient location. Updating my review since I have discovered the sandwiches and burrata slices. I have been ordering here a few times since pandemic started and wanted to switch things up. The Rasco sandwich is amazing ... the bread is delicious with the perfect pairing of homemade mozzarella and roasted peppers. It's also a huge sandwich. I finally tried the burrata slice since it's not offered every day and it's hands down my favorite pizza here. I think you may have to order this as a pie in advance since the owner makes the burrata in-house. We're in townfor a wedding and we stumbled across Rasco's around the corner from our hotel. We got a variety of food including stuffed pizza with meatballs and pepperoni, pepperoni roll, margaritas pizza and home made chips. The food was outstanding. Afterwards we talked to the owner for a while and he helped us navigate the bus system so we could go into NYC for the day. We're back for round 2 tonight. Friendly and will help answer your questions. The other guests will even answer questions for you. It is a friendly place to be. As for the food, it is good. It is depending on your taste. I prefer my pizza crust to be a bit thicker. That is the way I like it. But others prefer it thin. In this case the sauce is very good. That is worth the effort. The combinations are good also. Just ask. The spice and taste are excellent. It is worth going back to when you need a slice or two or maybe more. Your choice for when you are in the area. Prices are good.
