I had an excellent experience at Boswell's which is where I got everything fixed for a fraction of the price. Bill and Tom, the latter of whom is the owner we're super friendly and nice. Tom's wife answers the phone and is polite and courteous. I wanted the job done quickly and efficiently so that I could get my car back on the road otherwise I wouldn't be able to move forward with the rest of my work in business meetings they were very understanding of that and made sure that they did everything to accomplish it and exceeded my expectations I have absolutely nothing horrible to say about them because they're such wonderful folks and apparently they've been in business for a very long time and they know what they do and they're good at it. The partner of the owner goes by P.J was on site asked if we had full coverage and stated the mechanic is a independent contractor who was driving my car after hours so they are not liable. This for I received my insurance deductible of 500 dollars. The owner Keon Wilson says he will reimburse me my 4,767.88 for my engine however I have not received it or any information on when or how I will be reimbursed. Just excuses! I asked why the business insurance is not paying for it? He said "because the vehicle was not in the shop at the time of the incident, the mechanic a independent contractor who was driving the vehicle after hours that's where the problem comes up". So now I'm out of a vehicle , 4760 for the engine not to mention the 1,000 I spent on tires new tires. The mechanic/driver provided our insurance to the state trooper (this is now a at fault accident on my insurance). I am mad as hell!! This is going to be a long drawn out process in court now. I had used Myers years ago for minor repairs and was always treated well and was satisfied with their work, this time was totally different. When I took my vehicle in they did the diagnostic gave me the results and I gave them permission to make the repairs. my vehicle was there for more than a week when I picked my car up and drove approximately five miles my engine light came on and the car started backfiring and shut off I was able to get off the highway. I waited 10 to 15 minutes and the car finally started. once I got home, I called the shop they gave me every excuse in the book as to what was happening to the car. My vehicle was in and out of their service department for more than three months. to make a long story short, my vehicle was at Myers for a total of three or four months, I paid over two thousand dollars and my vehicle still is not running. The last thing I had replaced was my fuel pump. At the present time every light on my panel is on.
