It is one of those places that reminds you not to underestimate Ohio's natural beauty. There are hiking challenges too you can sign up for prizes. There is a really cute nature themed playground that is perfect for kids. This place also makes an amazing venue for events. You can rent spaces for parties or weddings, which is my dream venue. The welcome center is one of my favorite parts. They have live animals that are very well cared for, including rehabilitated raptors, which is so cool to see up close. There is also a large gift shop, a cozy lounging area, and coffee from Coffee Emporium available to buy. It is a great place to relax and take everything in, especially if you enjoy birdwatching. They also host seasonal events, and their Christmas lights event is one of my favorites. It really brings the whole place to life in a special way. The staff here are consistently kind, welcoming, and genuinely happy to talk with you. They are always willing to answer questions and make the experience even better. Overall, this is such a peaceful, educational, and well maintained place. Definitely somewhere you can keep coming back to and still enjoy every time.

It's because they pull up the review page on their own device and tell you to write the review - right then and there in your driveway - after running your credit card on the device, that just looks like their personal cell phone. Then there is the real star, the dog biscuits. They are handmade from spent grains (at the end process of beer brewing) from many local breweries. Each bag lists what brewery the spent grains are from, and the tag names the staff member that made them! Who could forget to mention that the whole purpose of this business is non for profit. They employ special needs adults, and do programs with special needs teens! Everyone here was very kind and helpful. The final high point for me personally, of course, is the human treats! They have a baker who is very talented. I took home a maple oat scone, which was delicious! This is a great place to indulge for yourself, your pet, and find some great gifts for any occasion while supporting a good cause and shopping local!!!

Volunteers (Jean, Amanda, Julie, Amy) were so helpful, supportive, friendly. I can't praise them enough. In just 5 days my "scaredy" cat has left his hiding place, explored the house and is happily settling in. I think this reflects the good care he received at STAF while awaiting a new home.

Their prices…read morehave stayed very consistent, and I almost always leave with at least one thing I genuinely love and end up taking home. One of the most fun perks about this location is that the home goods section is color coordinated. It makes browsing really enjoyable, especially if you're looking for a specific aesthetic or color palette. There's also a home goods section that features nicer pieces, like vintage items, crystal, and more elevated finds. I usually find something I like there. Some of those items are priced a bit higher, but nothing ever feels outrageous. Overall, this store has some of the best thrift store pricing I know. There's a small book section as well, and I've found a lot of textbooks and similar finds that I like to thrift and use as "academic inspired" decor, which I love. There's also a furniture section with some nicer pieces. I've seen people reserve furniture they like, which is great because you can purchase it and come back later to pick it up instead of having to haul it out immediately. The store also has a wall dedicated to framed art, and the rest of the center of the store is mostly clothing. I don't browse the clothing every visit, but I've found plenty of great workout pants, including name brands like Ralph Lauren, as well as cute sweaters such as vintage Halloween or seasonal themed pieces. There are also a few racks with more high end clothing if you want to look through those specifically. They almost always have some kind of deal going on, usually with a certain color tag discounted, which makes it fun to hunt for extra deals. As for the staff, there is one woman who works there regularly who is incredibly kind. She always greets you when you walk in and lets you know what the discount color of the day is. While I can't say every staff interaction has been outstanding, my experiences with her have been consistently great. One thing to note is that this location is often very low on bags, newspaper, and wrapping materials. If you want to make sure all of your items make it to your car safely, I'd recommend bringing your own bags just in case. They also always seem to be in need of bag donations, so if you have extras at home, it's a great place to drop them off. Overall, this is a thrift store I always enjoy coming back to and one I'd definitely recommend checking out.

I have had an on and off water issues in my lower level for years. A previous "life-time…read moreguaranteed" solution from another provider went bad. The company went out of business so the guarantee was worthless. When I noticed a musty smell, I contacted three other companies for opinions and solutions, All gave me different information and a wide range of prices. When I told a realtor my frustrations, she recommended Dry Effects. When the inspector came out, I immediately felt confident with his knowledge and experience. The Dry Effects estimate was also more reasonable than the others. Dry Effects sent out two crews. The first one to remediate wetness/mold in the walls and another to install a drain connected to my sump pump. They also provided a guarantee for their work. When another hidden problem arose months later, they promptly remediated it at no cost to me. After COVID, I have found it hard to find service providers who are reliable and efficient. It was a relief to find Dry Effects.
