There are SO many services offered here, to begin listing them almost seems like a futile pursuit! I went for job coaching and help with my resume. I have done this twice now, and both times, it has set me up in such a good position that I have gotten a job very shortly after my visit there! The atmosphere of the place is very relaxing, there is a cool little waterfall in the open area, and all of the classrooms and the prayer chapel are all very comfortable. That's a good thing if you find yourself in a position to need help. I would recommend anyone who needs just a little help to stop by here. You will be greeted warmly and will get to sit down with an assessor who will help you figure out what services you need. I'm thankful that I was able to get the help I needed and now that I am able to help others!

I also snagged a 1 gallon can of evolve Ultimate Paint and Primer for $17 and a 1 gallon can of evolve Paint and Primer in Sunbeam Yellow for $14. They are currently $35.99 and $30.99, respectively, on Amazon. What great deals! I'm so glad that I came! And, the employees are the nicest people. The manager was nice enough to wait past the closing time for me to get everything that I needed. I told her that I was just stopping in and would come back to get what I needed, but, she told me not to rush and the young lady that helped me take my supplies to my car was so sweet. The store is clean and well organized. The bathroom, which I know is a weird thing to talk about, was freshly painted and smelled really good. ;-) I'm definitely coming to this Restore again first to shop for supplies for projects. I had no idea what to expect when I traveled with my granddaughter to stay at the Ronald McDonald…read morehouse next to Cincinnati' Children's Hospital. She had appointments and procedures scheduled every day for a week, and being able to stay so near the hospital was great! I was blown away with RMH! They have thought of and provided everything a family could need while away from home whether for a short term or a long term stay. The house can serve over 170 families, is clean and inviting, and has the happiest staff around. We were met with smiles and encouragement at every turn. The rooms are well outfitted and in good repair. There are activities throughout the day for both parents and children. We used the arts and crafts room, the toy room, the indoor playground, the outdoor playground, the exercise room, the library, and the laundry area. My granddaughter loved the therapy dogs that came to visit. We were served lunch and dinner each day and breads and cereals for breakfast. There was a large family kitchen area that was fully stocked if you wanted to cook your own meal. All of this was provided at no cost to the family. After experiencing this place with my family, I can tell you that I will be an avid supporter of RMH and the services provided to families with children needing medical attention. This is truly love in action.

The absolute BEST place to adopt a dog in Cincinnati…read more Yes, they may go over your background with a fine tooth comb, but it's only because they care. (That's a GREAT thing...) The process really isn't that difficult or lengthy, it's simple. Remember adopting is a big life decision and owning a dog takes paitence! In comparison to the SPCA and others, STAF actually takes the time to make sure every pet is super healthy and well groomed. I was amazed at how much care they give their rescues. They REALLY work hard on behavior issues and training too. The effort their volunteers put in is beyond outstanding. These people are true people pet. Adopt a dog from STAF or go pay them a visit. You'll know why STAF deserves far more than 5 stars!

Volunteers (Jean, Amanda, Julie, Amy) were so helpful, supportive, friendly. I can't praise them enough. In just 5 days my "scaredy" cat has left his hiding place, explored the house and is happily settling in. I think this reflects the good care he received at STAF while awaiting a new home.

This year I wanted to do something for my birthday, giving back to the community and I was able to organize an event for my friends to get together and do. It was amazing. We hung candy on Christmas trees for A-Kid-Again. And they were nice enough to throw in a tour of the grounds as well, which made it even more special.
