There is only one location, which is in Covington, close to the Parish Kitchen, etc. I feel safe dropping off my donations, and I always get a receipt for my taxes. Note that the donation drop-off is behind the building in a parking lot. You have to ring the intercom for service.

If you ever need job coaching they have that too and free child care while your here shopping in their open door food pantry that operates Wednesday thru Saturday - Call for specific hours of operation. From time to time they offer a free health clinic with student nurses to check you out and get you better and they offer so many resources to the community. There are SO many services offered here, to begin listing them almost seems like a futile pursuit! I went for job coaching and help with my resume. I have done this twice now, and both times, it has set me up in such a good position that I have gotten a job very shortly after my visit there! The atmosphere of the place is very relaxing, there is a cool little waterfall in the open area, and all of the classrooms and the prayer chapel are all very comfortable. That's a good thing if you find yourself in a position to need help. I would recommend anyone who needs just a little help to stop by here. You will be greeted warmly and will get to sit down with an assessor who will help you figure out what services you need. I'm thankful that I was able to get the help I needed and now that I am able to help others!

We come to this recycling center about once a month to bring our recyclables. We sort our items at…read morehome to help us when dropping off. The volunteers are so helpful and very nice. They take so many more items than Rumpke...items that you wouldn't think of recycling from numbered and unnumbered plastics that Rumpke doesn't take to cosmetic containers. They also have a reuse area upstairs where I haven't been. Check out their website since they also have special collections occasionally. We need to do all we can for our environment!

They partner with other organizations occasionally, as I volunteered with Habitat for Humanity for a Give Back Cincinnati event. I like that they are looking for ways to partner with other organizations to help our city become better. I did go to their social in January, as they kicked off the new year with an open social meeting at a local brewery. I also volunteered with them in January, as their first service project was called 'back to school'. This service project focused on helping a local school turned orphanage. We painted several of the rooms and hallways, as well as cleaned up the school. Give Back went over and beyond, as they provided bagels and coffee in the morning before we worked. They welcomed everyone with a big smile! There was over 60 people at this event, so neat to see. This organization always does a social after an event. This time they met in the Hyde Park/Oakley area to say thank you to their volunteers with some drinks and appetizers. I really do think this organization does great things, and I look forward to their various service projects throughout the year. Interested? Our son has been enrolled at Bright Path Bridgetown Child Care Center since he was…read moresixteen-months-old and, let me tell you, it has been the single greatest thing that's ever happened to him. He gets to spend his weekdays in a very safe, regulated, educational environment where he can learn just as much as he socializes. As a Montessori school, it functions more like an educational institution than a daycare, which creates a perfect balance that is incredibly healthy for the children. We're going to continue to have our son attend through at least preschool -- and we're excited to see our expected daughter enrolled at an even earlier point.

We have been going to The Children's House for a 3 years and I cannot say enough good things about…read moreit. The teachers are wonderful, and the most patient people you have ever met. The Administrative Staff are always on hand and awesome. More than any of that, my kids LOVE it here. We had been to 2 other daycare places before The Children's House, and we were not satisfied with the care our kids were receiving at the other places. At The Children's House, they actually teach the kids, not just put them in a room to have "inside recess" all day. My kids come home with a sense of structure and organizational skills they crave. They put these skills into practice at home and often times ask for "jobs" to do around the house to help pick up or maybe help me put laundry away. The Children's House is set up like places in the real world too. For example, they eat in a cafeteria that is set up like a restaurant, they have a cinema room, etc. So my kids are learning how to behave when we are in public, and they are used to seeing these different places that may not be day-to-day for us. At the other places, it just seemed like managed chaos and it was reflecting in my kids behavior. We have had far fewer outbursts, temper tantrums, and melt downs. I believe it was because the other places were not structured with activities, lesson plans, and play time. At the other places, I felt as though the kids were left to make their own rules all day long and they would come home with that mentality. I highly recommend The Children's House if you are seeking to have your kid(s) in a learning environment. My preschooler can count to 100 by 5's, 10's and 20's. She is doing basic math (ex. 2+2+2=6), and is trying to phonetically read. She is only enrolled for 2 days a week and these are the results we are getting. To say I am impressed with this school is an understatement. Hat's off to The Children's House for all the dedication they put into the education of our next generation!
