Also - do you ever wonder how they have so many reviews or that the workers are almost always named? Mostly all on the big search engine. It's because they pull up the review page on their own device and tell you to write the review - right then and there in your driveway - after running your credit card on the device, that just looks like their personal cell phone. That's exactly what they did to my husband. Also made him take a picture of them to use in the review.

I use transparent plastic bags, generally making a run after I've filled five of them - the max I can fit in my car at one time. I've always been impressed with how friendly and helpful the guys are (they are all guys in the recycling area) despite their *strictly functional* and amenity-free [*translation: dirty, grungy and often too hot or too cold] work area and the cashier in the little trailer (nearly always female) is extremely pleasant as she slides under the thick glass pane, the cash you've earned for what you've brought in. Aluminum scrap prices (all other metal scrap in general) fluctuates widely so I never know how much I'm going to make, but it's generally enough to pay for my gas and part of my lunch. Well, let's start with what this place is. Simply put, it's a place to take your metal scrap for…read morerecycling, and my experience, it is the quickest way to receive cash for your scrap metal. For those of you that live in Covington, you understand that there are many vans and trucks driving throughout the city searching for metal on the side of the road I'm garbage night. I think that this place is the first place scrappers go to in order to recycle their metal. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to recycle at can-do recycling. 1. Get some metal. For me, it's often the random pieces of curtain rods or reworked copper that are sitting in my basement, or possibly aluminum cans if we've had a large party of people staying at our place for a weekend. 2. Drive to can-do and grab a then to get your metal out of the car. Use a trashcan to get your aluminum cans, a yellow bin for copper, it will barrel for steel. I'm sure there are other rules, but, as you will see in number three, I've had to learn by process of trial and error. 3. Don't expect much help from the customer service. I'm sure they put up with a lot of junk at the counter, and it's pretty obvious based on their demeanor and responses to questions.meaning, they aren't mean or anything, just short. Copper is the most valuable metal that I have brought in, steel is the least valuable. All in all, if you have a few minutes to stop in, it usually doesn't take very long to get your metal checked in, and you get cash for your time. I hope yesterday was helpful, recycle on.

And, not only do they accept your recycled goods, but they will pay you for them as well. That sounds like a good deal if you ask me! Side note, when going into this facility don't stop at the little trailer near the entrance. Instead head around the trailer, back behind the big warehouse and to the small shed on the side.
