They take so many more items than Rumpke...items that you wouldn't think of recycling from numbered and unnumbered plastics that Rumpke doesn't take to cosmetic containers. One time when I tried to discuss it with a driver, he almost ran me over. In the pursuing conversations with Rumpke supervisors, I was told not to speak with drivers because they are "not trained in customer service." Now once again, service personnel are refusing to take my recycling (three cardboard boxes and three plastic bottles), because they're not in a Rumpke can (they're in a separate green can clearly marked 'Recycling') despite my city paying for us to use cans beyond Rumpke's. Rumpke is bad value for what I pay in taxes, and we need more waste removal companies to break this arrogant monopoly.
