What can I say, I tried to hold it together while they were here, but I was in tears when they left. We are young, have a child, live paycheck to paycheck most times- and trying to clear out and fix up the home we live in. It's old and needs a lot of TLC. First off, these guys are cheaper than Got Junk, local, and good dudes. From start to finish, the guys from 800-Declutter crushed it for our family. We got stuck with a bunch of junk left over from the previous owner of the house we purchased -- way more than expected. First, Nick showed up and cleared out our garage with another gentleman; they were professional, hard-working, and good communicators. We needed more help though, and Alex and Casey showed up twice this weekend to help clear more of the junk. When there was stuff leftover after that, they helped us get a dumpster on a Sunday - a holiday weekend, and a couple buddies and myself finished the job. Was suppose to be a week long rental. Took 3 weeks and 4 days to pick up the dumpster. Unresponsive, did not answer multiple phone calls and text messages. After taking the dumpster away they called back begging for more money. I would rather pay more and have a timely service. read more

I've used these gentlemen multiple times to move things - always shown up in a prompt time, with a 30 minute call ahead to let me know (including once I specifically requested an exact time and they hit it). One time I was away from the house, they had my credit card on file and the junk was already outside (on the side of the house), and they showed up and took it, ran my card digitally, and left the bill in my mailbox (along with a magnet). They show up, work hard and quickly, get my junk, friendly, fast, efficient. THEN they sweep up after whatever the hell they just took and throw it all in the truck too! I've been amazed each and every single time. The prices are a little higher than what I would "ideally" pay - but the service so far outweighs this (also I've not done any comparison shopping on cost). Wonderful first time experience. The gentleman who booked me was friendly while explaining my options, he was even able to booked me for move out junk removal the next day. While they ran behind due to a big job before mine, I was called at the beginning of my time slot to let me know of the delay so I didn't have to wait around. When they arrived at the revised time, Alex and his co-worker was so polite and helpful. They gave me the option to not stay, promising to send me pictures when they were finished and locked up so I confirm everything was handled. They left the place spotless. I was in a jam. We were closing on the sale of our house in 24 hours. The first time I scheduled this service for my house, I had an emergency come up at the scheduled appointment. They were very understanding and happy to reschedule my appointment. They gave me a two hour window and called 30 minutes before they arrived. They were courteous and professional. When they arrived, they explained pricing and asked if I wanted to proceed with service. I gave them the thumbs up and they began. They moved quickly and efficiently, and were able to fill up an entire truck in two hours. After they loaded up the truck, they swept the entire garage. They focused on every little detail, making sure they got even the smallest nail. This attention to detail was the same even when they swept. My garage looked immaculate when they were done. Once they were done, they gave me the best pricing and applied a great coupon. The second instance was at my condo building. It is a 125yr old building that has seen a lot of conversions. The owners have treated the storage area as their personal dumping area and the clutter was just impossible to stand anymore. The guys were super flexible and even though I couldn't be there, they did the job. They used the lockbox and followed the directions to a tee. They cleaned a 100yr old mess and when they had questions, they called me instead of taking it on themselves and possibly making a mistake. I love their attention to detail and professionalism. These 5 star reviews are 100% fake!!!!!! I inquired about a quote online Monday and made an appointment for Wednesday hoping I would receive a quote prior to Wednesday. Wednesday a guy calls and asks about my appointment I asked him for a quote and his response was, "Wow this appointment was for a quote" (laughter then talking to another guy) "If we would have driven 40 miles for a quote, wow that is unbelievable." I describe my lazyboy and he gets snippy asking inside versus outside and size. Then once again, "I cannot believe this was for a quote." I said, "Clearly this is not a professional company and I am no longer interested in your services." He said, "YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT." We called the company to ask how quickly they could remove a large amount of wood and branches. We just moved to a new home and it looked like a jungle on the side of the house with years and years of accumulated wood and brush. They came out THE NEXT DAY to give us a quote. It ended up being a very challenging job for them. The Wood was extremely heavy and awkward to move. They kept in constant touch with us about the process. They were able to remove a fair amount the first day ( we were having a fence installed and needed a big amount cleared away to make room). They came back the next business day with a dumpster and cleared the rest of it away. Amazing work by their great team. We are so appreciative. read more

BEWARE of 800-declutter..I spoke with Scott Harris and he is a horrible person. We spoke and I had asked about getting a dumpster. I did not know the difference in the size. I was thinking maybe a 10 yard for the price of $299. He said he only had 15 yards available for the next day which are $50 more at $350. He says since I didn't know which one I needed, it would be good to get the 15 yard and if you use it all it will only be $50 instead of having to get a new dumpster at $300. I agreed and told Scott I'll take the 15 yard, it only made sense. Well, old Scott here did not bring me the 15 yard that we agreed upon, he dropped of a 10 yard which was too small, which he also said he no longer had available. My guy told the delivery guy it was the wrong dumpster but he dropped it anyway. When I called Scott to ask why he did not bring me what I ordered, he said life's too short to be arguing about a dumpster, he yelled and hung up the phone. Wow, what type of customer service is that. No one would answer after that. This is not the way to treat anyone, no matter how short life may be. Scott should of apologized, and brought out the dumpster I ordered, like everyone else who is in a business to satisfy their customers. Scott needs to retire and let someone who cares about customer satisfaction take over. This is to be continued....but beware of declutter and sneaky old Scott. read more

I booked my appointment online and got a discount. I compared their prices to all the other junk haulers and they came out on top, even before the discount. Their trucks are the biggest and their rates are the lowest. It was a no-brainer. Considering the city of Cincinnati just started restricting trash removal to what fits into one can, this is the way to go. On the day of my appointment, just as I was realizing that we were ahead of schedule, they called to ask if we were ready. Perfect! They bumped us up and came early. The two guys were very nice, friendly, professional. They explained how they load the truck, dividing into recyclable, donation worthy and trash. It took them about an hour. They were careful to take only what we indicated and even patiently put up with us changing our minds about a couple things. They even swept up the basement when it wasn't their mess! I made an online appointment to have them remove a load of garbage bags and small items that filled up (I mean FILLED) about half of a one-car garage. The signup process was painless. The truck arrived less than five minutes into the 2-hour window I'd requested (after they'd given me the heads-up call pretty much dead-on a half-hour earlier.) The two employees, who I want to call out by name - David and Alex - were friendly and funny, but also very professional and thorough. Even though my load filled up their truck, they were able to arrange it so as to be able to take everything that I wanted gone. They swept up literally every crumb that had accumulated - when they were done, you couldn't tell that there had been anything there. The whole process took about an hour. I could not be more satisfied with the results, and with the value of the service I received. Again, I want to specifically mention David and Alex as outstanding representatives of this company. I will definitely use them again whenever possible.
