I purchased a coupler for my beer keg. Unfortunately the coupler did not fit and I wanted to return the product. The only answer to my request was an Email with their return policy, which is nowhere posted on their website. In a nutshell, returning the product would mean I have to pay them as much as I paid originally, which is ridiculous. If you have such an unfriendly customer return policy, why are you even selling in today's market? Never again will I purchase anything from them. Update: The company recognized, that their return policy is not up to normal standards and they offered now a free return and refund, which I will take. My suggestion is, make it right from the beginning and avoid unhappy clients. read more

In a highly competitive marketplace, Rapid is on the fast track to obsolescence. Their solution to minor problems was, "I understand if you need to order elsewhere. Thank you." (John P Collison | Inbound Sales & Customer Service Manager) Following a missed email on our end, our order was cancelled. We accepted fault and reordered and followed their inconvenient verification process the same day. Apparently the only person who could verify our purchase, Malena, was out of office through the weekend. We were told we would receive a call back and that our order would be passed along to the sales manager. We did not receive a call back and reached out the following business day only to find out that our order was once again cancelled. When we contacted to remedy the situation we received this response from the sales manager (who failed to contact us as promised): "We have had a lot of fraud going to containers lately. So, we have enhanced security where the customer must call in and verify identity. This was the second order placed by you we had to cancel because verification was not confirmed. Our company will send an email confirming the order but we will not call to begin the verification process." We offered to repurchase a third time on the condition that Rapids' would expedite the shipping of the order since it was already delayed. Malena and John really left our company very disappointed with Rapids'. We will strongly urge others to shop elsewhere. read more

My father and I had to order a piece of cooling equipment for his bar's tap beers because it's been broken for three days and he has two big parties coming in this Thursday and Friday. We were told by my dad's mechanic to order from Rapids, as it has fairly reliable equipment and he couldn't find the part to the whole machine anywhere except international, so we'd be better off just ordering a whole new machine and getting it priority shipped. We ordered a $900 piece of cooling equipment with a $216 priority shipping cost, and we were pretty confident that it would arrive on time rather than going for the free economy shipping that wouldn't arrive until Friday. But the back of our minds told us to call Rapids to ensure that it would arrive here, in Brooklyn NY, before Thursday, because while FedEx gave an economy shipping ETA, it would not give a priority one. This morning, my father called Rapids and was speaking to customer service rep Yvonne, who told him it wouldn't arrive by priority shipping until Friday. Frustrated, my father asked why he paid an extra $200+ for shipping that would arrive at the same time, and the rep rudely told him that it wasn't her fault and that her manager blamed the narrow New York streets on FedEx's shipping lethargy. However, this $200 shipping fee was estimated before we input our zip code, so her excuse was a blatant lie. Then, when my father asked her to cancel the shipping fee and just ship it economy (as it hadn't shipped yet even though we ordered it yesterday and it was supposed to be priority) she responded "Why not just cancel the whole order?" My father was shocked, and asked her if she truly meant to cancel the whole order, and she said "Yes, cancel the whole order." So he did, and he told them to make sure all of his money was put back in his account within seven days. My father has never heard a customer service representative in his life goad him into canceling his own order, so for the terrible customer service and obscenely priced and confusing shipping options, I have to give this place one star. This product came to us damaged and when I called I was told it was my fault for not inspecting it before the delivery driver left however he came (LATE) over the lunch hour which is the timeframe I said do not come at. Our local Quality Brands beer rep had a hard time installing the machine. After install the unit will not cool and fan barely kicks on so beer is sitting at 45 degrees or hotter. We have had multiple beer reps look at this unit for a week and still no results. Customer service is voicemails only which is not helpful and the return policy is inefficient. We will update this review as soon as we hear back with their solution. Until them we are just getting lots of beer waste and returns. Stay tuned! read more
