I had my…read moreindividual returns done by a CPA from Virginia but as my situation this time is little different I wanted to meet my CPA in-person when required for a better connection and communication and this place is recommended by one of my friends. What I was really looking for was someone who could explain things to me and give me some new business tax advice and Mr. Rasik and Mr. Shaan did just that. I was a little skeptical in beginning due to negative posted reviews, later on I interacted with these folks on numerous times and I got the effective answers on timely manner, they are very busy during tax filing season but they are very professional and have a friendly staff. During my travel for business they are always accessible via e-mail and I was able to get my answers quickly. Highly recommend their services.

I have been a client for 15+ years and when asked a question on a notice we got from IRS and how to…read morerespond to that, they became so defensive and abusive, calling us liars and trying to intimidate us. Shaan is the person we had the unpleasant experience of dealing with and he was very rude to us and appears to have some unresolved issues. You can look at their response to the reviews of their unhappy customers here on Google, you would understand the kind of firm they are. Instead of addressing the issue, they simply abuse their clients. I would STAY AWAY from them and also have advised all my friends whom I had referred over so many years to stay away from this firm for good as they are very unprofessional, highly unethical and truly don't know how to treat a client. I simply urge everyone to stay away from this firm as they will let you down eventually.. I am sure he is going to respond to my review, with the same "ethics", that he did with others who gave him a negative review. If only he shows that same vigor towards addressing the actual issue...it would have been a different story !

I asked for a follow up phone call so we could chat through the submitted documentation together, knowing something might need more support. Oliver and his associates said a phone call wasn't necessary, and confirmed receipt of all paperwork. They told me we were good to go, and they had everything they needed to proceed with filing. I got a communication from them in early April asking for me to submit the same documentation in an alternative manner because they didn't have the time to go through everything. AKA they wanted me to do their job for them because (1) they hadn't looked through the documents thoroughly enough in January, and (2) waited until the last minute to do file my taxes. They also failed to communicate the amount I owed to the state of New York in 2023 after taxes were filed, which resulted in a levy. These are terrible accountants who can't communicate and will put you in financial trouble. BEWARE AND DO NOT USE.

After I answered, they told me, "Here, we charge a minimum of $600. You should go back to Washington Heights--it will be cheaper there." As a Dominican woman, I found this comment deeply offensive. I explained that I didn't mind paying more if my taxes were done properly, but the tone and attitude made it clear I was being stereotyped and judged based on where I'm from. The manager tried to apologize and insisted that I was not denied service because of my nationality but by then, the damage was done. I felt humiliated, disrespected, and unwelcome. I ended up in tears. No one should ever have to feel discriminated against, especially when seeking professional services. Discrimination has no place in business, and I hope this office reflects seriously on how they treat people from different backgrounds. I left feeling judged, not for who I am as a client, but for where I come from--and that is unacceptable
