They never got back to me, not even to tell me if the time/date didn't work for them or proposing another time that would better work. I can't say anything regarding the quality of their work; however, since this is a customer focused business, I believe they should have done a much better job at following up with a potential customer. Appointments during busy filing season are hard to come by so make sure to schedule early and have your paperwork in order. The office puts in the work 7 days a week during busy season and I am so incredibly grateful for the evening and weekend hours they offer. Though I had many recommendations and referrals for other accountants, I chose to work with Rose because I chose to specifically support a woman and minority owned business. One piece of advice from Erin Benzakein from Floret about hiring a bookkeeper and accountant was that if you feel dumb or awful after meeting with either, then it's time for you to hire a new accountant/bookkeeper. I was having a hard time managing my own bookkeeping and was inquiring about this service. I met with Tara and she was condescending, defensive, and was gaslighting me when I started crying on the call after she went on a diatribe about the importance of bookkeeping. I also disagreed with her statement that "Bookkeeping is the backbone of your business." Unfortunately, Rose was also on the call and there wasn't any intervention. I would recommend Rose Brown only if you were just working with her and Darin, but would stay away if you are on a call with Tara.
