I'm not usually one to post reviews, in fact, I have rarely post reviews on yelp. I recently moved from New Jersey to Forest Hills. Not understanding New York City tax law and in addition to, I had issues with my W-2. Trying to get my tax return done in time for the tax deadline; I called pretty much every accountant in the area. They all quoted me the same price which was in my opinion over what the market was charging and were frankly rather impatient. I called Andrey at Liberty Tax who was courteous, kind and very honest with his prices. He was super quick to answer emails, I also loved his online portal which allowed for full transparency of the tax preparation forms and quick communication via the portal; as well as refund status. I needed a local tax preparer for my 2019 taxes. I went on yelp to look for one near my home. With a lot of searching and emailing and contacting a few tax preparers, Liberty Tax in forest hills was the one that replied quickly. A few other tax agencies replied quickly but they took a while to respond to questions I had before I started filing my taxes with them. Within a day, my taxes were filed and done. Because of COVID, I opted to send them my documents online and have everything done online. That was not a problem for them. Andrey as well as the tax preparer Nadia were GREAT! They called me if they needed an information, they replied to emails fast and it was such a easy and smooth procedure.
