I went to the Arlington location. It is in a hair boutique and the chair is right by the front door, so anyone walking in gets a great view of your gums. My technician was kind, but she did have a few different personal conversations on the phone during my 15 minute whitening. Donna explained everything very well and walked me through the steps as she did them. However, at the end of my session, there were very bright fluoride stains on my teeth and the one dark spot on my teeth was extremely visible. It really freaked me out and I wasn't even able to pay attention to the whitening of the rest of my teeth because I was internally having a panic attack. It would have been nice to know ahead of time that this is normal and to be expected but that everything will fade so that the white and dark spots aren't epically noticeable. When I asked about them, I was told that there's nothing that could be done except hope that it fades, that most people have spots like these and that a lot of people can whiten their teeth to the absolute extreme and you'll still see those brighter white spots on their teeth... yikes! Although she was so kind to me, I am really wary about returning or pursuing any other teeth whitening experience because I was so shaken up by the fear that I was going to have bright white splotches on my front teeth forever. Thankfully, these did fade starting about 15 minutes after I left. But I was still so obsessed checking to see how noticeable these stains were after leaving that I'm never even took the time to evaluate whether my teeth were brighter. read more

If you were to add up how much you spend buying teeth whitening products such as Crest White Strips white and over-the-counter whitening gels you can never get the same results AND you would have spent more $$ vs a 30 minute session at Smile Labs. I bought the groupon deal last week and booked my appointment for Monday. I had read reviews prior to going and decided it was definitely worth a shot. When I arrived for my appointment, I was told to wait by a male employee. He literally put his finger up and and signaled for me to wait on the bench. I brushed it off because I was so excited for my appt. Unfortunately, he was the one who set me up for the whitening and he was RUDE. He did not take a before pic or really care to explain the process to me. His whole vibe was negative and had it not been for Amber taking care of me the last half, I would never return. Never got past the front door, it was locked every time I arrived for my appointment. I was really excited about getting a professional whitening, bought a Groupon and set my appointment in the Richardson location, it is a block from my home. Arrived on time, go to the door and it is locked. I call and no answer, try again and finally get someone on the phone that tells me I need to come to the uptown location or reschedule for a weekday. I scheduled for the following Thursday arrived on time, once again the door is locked and no one answered the phone, they call 21 minutes after my scheduled appointment saying they were waiting on me. Paid for a groupon to get my teeth whitening for my birthday. The "lab" was far from the house, so we left an hour early. On the way, we received a voicemail from a lady. She said they need to reschedule the appointment. Rescheduling while your customer is already on the way from far away, seems like a poor business practice. We attempted to call the lab and reschedule, but they let our call to voice mail. And thirty minutes later, they still haven't returned the call. Cancelling the appointment, and requesting a refund. I did the 30 mins. Review is based on result. After 30 mins with pains all over my gum, there was no difference at all. Same result I could have acheived if I brushed my teeth. They charged me $212 for 60 minutes of whitening and I did not notice the difference. They are a complete scam. I used a groupon they talked me into 60 mins because I wanted results and did not get them. The African woman doing my treatment was rude and called me a "mess". She was not even certified. I went to bright white smiles studio who uses a stronger lazer after because my teeth looked the same as before.
