I realize my last review was 9 years ago for Crew Car Wash, but clearly in 9 years things have…read morechanged in my perspective. Now this place is like McDonald's. They are running on auto pilot and collecting the cash. They have a corner on the market a bit with location and history of being in this spot. Get in line, hand over your money, be on your way. Now it appears that the price I noted 9 years ago was $19 and this time my car wash was $18, so that says something. And then $2 for 8 minutes of self-vacuuming. When I return home to detail the inside further myself, the outside windows remain smudged and dirty. Upon closer inspection, this is when I noticed how dirty the outside of my car remained. I understand a drive-thru car is not a hand wash job and it cannot get everything. But my car was dirty before and remained so after...noticeably. My new rating of a 2 is because my car remained filthy....full stop. There are so many employees out front of Crew Car Wash when I am there, taking money and getting you properly on the conveyor belt. Like noticeably a lot. Some of those employees could be better utilized with a bucket of suds and a scrub brush to simply brush down those spots on your front bumper/headlights and tailgate a bit before a car enters the conveyor belt. Nothing too labor intensive. In Vegas and elsewhere where I regularly have cars washed, this is standard. It would have probably gotten off a chunk of the dirt, bugs, grime that remained on my vehicle and thus not warranted a 2 on Yelp. I know, life is about managing expectations and clearly I need to lower them here at Crew Car Wash. Maybe even some of those employees doing a bit of drying on the tail end would be nice. People like me provide tips for stuff like that and this would catch the window smudges I am talking about that were real bad. Again, lots of staff up front that could be a bit nicer upon taking my money, but indeed the service quality needs to be much improved. All show, but no dice. Not sure I am returning anytime soon.

If not, I have gone back thru a second time and they will allow me to pass thru to make it the best possible. Workers are always knowledgeable and efficient. Overall, It's a very good investment and value to get their little coupon books. I don't immediately have pics to share of my personal vehicles. But similar to each of these have gone thru the washing system.

However, the…read moreemployee wash bay you are supposed to enter from the other side, which I found out the hard way. It simply says "open" in a neon light - no exit or entrance sign. I pulled up and opened my door to take magnets off of my car before I pulled through. Some big redneck type with a scraggly red beard started screaming at me telling me, "No, no, you got to move right now! Like I need you to go now!" Being from out of town, but having lived in the area over 20 years ago, I'm not familiar with this car wash, but definitely has many friends that are. I will not be recommending such rudeness and poor customer service to anyone. Perhaps proper signage would prevent you from any insurance claims, especially when the logical thing is for all days to face the same way.

I've been here before and they did a so-so job. For $14, I don't expect a detailed clean. What I…read moredid expect was for them to clean the windows and wipe down the interior and vacuum. The vacuum job was okay, they got the big stuff. The interior wipe down was a joke. They only cleaned the windows on the drivers side. Didn't wipe down the dashboard, center console, or anything in the back seat area. I didn't look everything over before I left. Shame on me. I turned around to go back but there was 6 cars in line. Wasn't worth my time to wait again. I Definitely will find a new car wash to frequent

I'm teetering on a 2 and 3 star. And it makes me a little sad to leave it there. Here's my deal…read more I called to make an appointment to get my car detailed after seeing the yelp deal for 50% off the Ultimate Detail. I told him I had the coupon, what my car was and when I'd bring it. He told me it would take 2 hours-no kids, pretty clean car. I gathered my ride, planned the pickup time (I had to be at court later), and dropped it then. First off, when you go to the garage, it's not entirely clear where to pull it in (across from Jimmy Johns, "Reserved" entrance). Found that, but then I didn't know how to open the gate. I called Rocky at the Wash, but was holding up all the traffic. You have to push the button and the operator will open it. Ok, that's done. I get there but the owner, Rocky, wasn't there. I left my keys in the drop box, assuming he knew the appointment. Fast forward 2 hours. When I called, he said it would be ready at 11:45. After getting my ride to take me up there again, I hand the coupon for a DETAIL over, "that'll be $12.50", "huh?", and turns out all they actually did was wash the outside. What?! Called my ride, he turned around and came back to get me. I wasn't going to miss this opportunity for a good detail! I called again at 3:30 and he said I could come get the car. After hanging out at Starbucks for a while, I headed over. They insisted it was ready. Check out the photos, was it ready? $125 detail job ready? I planned my whole day around this, as I don't work downtown. The outside wash/wax gets a 4.5/5. There were still very dirty areas related to the outside but they were inside doors. But this is an expensive detail! Wax job was lovely, however. The inside left a lot to be desired. Mud was still in a few spots on the seats (when I got home I wiped it off with a cloth...), dirty cup holders, dirty door handle, dirty glove box, etc etc etc. See photos. Who would pay $125 for this? Not me. I'll be back to my regular General Grant Car Wash for a $20 wash/wipe and splurge on the $50 express detail which is much better than this! Maybe I didn't leave it long enough, maybe because I had a coupon (I told him I was reviewing), maybe they didn't like my car or I didn't look rich enough (I have $$ to spend, folks). I have no idea. For those that work downtown, you might have a better relationship but new-comers, I'd go somewhere else.
