I realize my last review was 9 years ago for Crew Car Wash, but clearly in 9 years things have changed in my perspective. Now this place is like McDonald's. They are running on auto pilot and collecting the cash. They have a corner on the market a bit with location and history of being in this spot. Get in line, hand over your money, be on your way. Now it appears that the price I noted 9 years ago was $19 and this time my car wash was $18, so that says something. And then $2 for 8 minutes of self-vacuuming. When I return home to detail the inside further myself, the outside windows remain smudged and dirty. Upon closer inspection, this is when I noticed how dirty the outside of my car remained. I understand a drive-thru car is not a hand wash job and it cannot get everything. But my car was dirty before and remained so after...noticeably. My new rating of a 2 is because my car remained filthy....full stop. There are so many employees out front of Crew Car Wash when I am there, taking money and getting you properly on the conveyor belt. Like noticeably a lot. Some of those employees could be better utilized with a bucket of suds and a scrub brush to simply brush down those spots on your front bumper/headlights and tailgate a bit before a car enters the conveyor belt. Nothing too labor intensive. In Vegas and elsewhere where I regularly have cars washed, this is standard. It would have probably gotten off a chunk of the dirt, bugs, grime that remained on my vehicle and thus not warranted a 2 on Yelp. I know, life is about managing expectations and clearly I need to lower them here at Crew Car Wash. Maybe even some of those employees doing a bit of drying on the tail end would be nice. People like me provide tips for stuff like that and this would catch the window smudges I am talking about that were real bad. Again, lots of staff up front that could be a bit nicer upon taking my money, but indeed the service quality needs to be much improved. All show, but no dice. Not sure I am returning anytime soon. read more

I'm not good at keeping cars pristine. So, when I go, the car wash machine and workers usually have their work cut out. I'm always very pleased with the results. If not, I have gone back thru a second time and they will allow me to pass thru to make it the best possible. Workers are always knowledgeable and efficient. Overall, It's a very good investment and value to get their little coupon books. I don't immediately have pics to share of my personal vehicles. But similar to each of these have gone thru the washing system. read more

The workers are very helpful but can hardly do anything. I signed up for the ultimate wash but the wash hardly cleaned my SUV. The back of the suv was still dirty and the side of it also. I asked for a refund due to being the most expensive wash for a basic sub par wash. Also having to pay to vacuum your vehicle does not make sense, With the price you pay to wash. read more

Actually NO STARS!! The worse car wash. Their car wash tore off my back windshield wiper and blade right off the back window and they made every ignorant excuse not to have it repaired. One of their lousy and lame excuse was that my car was over 10 years old. Here's my response to their lame excuses, do us all a favor and don't allow vehicles over 10 years to go thru your car wash. Make sure to tell every single owner of a vehicle 10 years or older that they're business is not needed at Car Crew Wash because they will deny to pay for damages that occurs at their lousy car wash. My car has never looked so good! I took our Mazda CX5 to be washed after traveling across the country during rain and snow storms. The windows were blurry and streaked and though it's dark blue, the car looked dirty and gray, Fast forward to going through Crew Carwash, and it shines!!! I got the wash with all the bells and whistles and it's beautiful! It looks new! I went in a busy, sunny day and got in quickly! Service was so friendly; Ryan, the GM was so friendly and helpful! Took my new 2022 RAM Big Horn Truck through the car wash today. Received the "Ultimate Wash" for free because of the veteran's day promotion. Wash was excellent and helps me keep the road grime off! The whole team is well dressed, ready for work and relay that in their interaction with the customers. It's rewarding to see a team of bright young people who are excited about their jobs. The whole experience from start to end was extremely smooth and relaxing while watching the truck get washed. Thanks Crew Carwash of Terre Haute for the free was on veteran's day. read more

Terre Haute Location. We've been using this location for several years with this truck and tire setup. Today for the first time, a new manager (1 month on location) named Kaden turned away our truck. Initially he measured the truck and told my fiancee and the other 2 occupants of the truck that it was 74 inches. I was upset with this and went down there a few hours later and when he measured it this time it read 71.25". I understand the limit is 71" however my tape measure, based off of their requirements read as 71". I asked if their measuring tool is calibrated and he informed me it is calibrated daily. I requested to see a certificate of analysis or qualification for their measuring device (especially since the 2 measurements he gave had a 2.75" deviation), but he said they do not have any documentation or certifications. I'm upset because today they FORCED out a customer. I literally went there making an urgent attempt to give them my business. All of the other crew car washes I've visited around the Indianapolis area have never given us any issues and we've spent well over $1,000+ on their business and used the Terre Haute Location the most. I don't know if this is more sad than it is disappointing. Note: I apologize to everyone they made back up and create a cluster for her to backup the truck. In all of the years of using this car wash we've never had any issues or damage. read more

When I went through the wash my rear windshield wiper and arm fell off (at no fault to them...I had broke the cover off prior to this). The manager quickly went to find my wiper and brought it back out! He even tried to put it back on for me but I had broke it completely at that point. They are always professional and I love how clean my car is afterwards! The unlimited wash is the best! They have a great crew at this Crew car wash! read more

The pricing of this car was was a bit higher than expected. I've been to nice car washes, but $10 for a bare minimum wash is a bit high. I came out of the wash and my tailgate still had dirt on it. Easily wiped off with a finger. The other prices for washed range up to $20(?) for the "ultimate". There another wash in between. The vacuums are $2 for I believe it was 8 minutes. Of course the vacuum I pulled up to the opposite side vacuum had barely any suction & it was supposed to have both sides of vacuums for each side of your car available. They did have a small air tool to get things out of cracks & tight spaces. I usually expect at more expensive car washes to have free vacuums. Definitely wasn't expecting to pay $12 to get a below average Carwash & vacuum. Would rather pay $2-3 and get the same level doing it myself in one of the pull in car washes. Line was pretty busy but it did move quickly. They offered an unlimited wash option for $30/month I believe for the ultimate car wash. Probably a better idea for someone to just purchase this & just go at least twice a month. read more
