I was riding my bike and didn't realize my tires were so low I could barely pedal. The air hose was…read morefrozen so the attendant took the time to full them and to make sure they were filled the right amount. This isn't the first time they also helped me when my tires were low and refused any tip. I would definitely go back there for other services

I had all 4 brakes and tires replaced on my car. The work took a really long time and was done…read morepoorly. 1st problem- one of the tires wasn't balanced properly and the car shook bad over 50mph. Had to bring it back to have the one tire rebalanced 2nd problem 2nd problem- the brakes squeaked terribly during slowing and stopping below 25mph. I brought the car back and explained the problem. It took them the entire day to check out the car and they told me there were no issues. I told them that was not satisfactory and that I wanted the brakes replaced under warranty. They agreed and said that I needed to leave my car another day and that it would be done "first thing next morning". They kept my car for the entire next day and said they replaced the rotors and pads under warranty. Guess what? The supposedly new brakes also squeal horribly and were probably not fixed. So all in all, my car spent a total of 4 days in this shop and it took 3 visits have a simple tire and brake job done which is still not done properly. This places does shoddy work, is really slow and bad at communicating with their customers. The shop and waiting room is a completely run down and dirty dump of a place. I will NEVER go back here and I wouldn't recommend anyone go here. I wish I could give negative stars.

READ THIS IMPORTANT Just about last month, I got about $1800…read moreworth of my brakes worked on meanwhile about until now or a few days ago my brakes don't work at all. I was going all the way to the floor and it still wasn't stopping while I just got this done and paid this amount of money for the amount of work.. OK yes I understand some of the car business is a little bit of a scam but you guys at Matt one stop almost got me hurt seriously I almost got killed because I didn't know that they didn't even put my rear brake pads in correctly or bled my brakes I have a 2007 Honda Civic but paid $1800 in brake parts and labor? Just wow that's something you pay for a newer car. I have a 2007. So just know that if this place knows that you make money they're gonna try and squeeze it out of you no matter what they don't care if you're about to crash into a car going 50 mph because you can't break because they didn't put in things correctly.. Matt's one stop stop your shit stop being greedy because it's getting people hurt and if you want to be greedy, do the job right. thousands and thousands of dollars going towards this place while I could've got it done fixed for much cheaper at anywhere else. And I've been going to this place for a while. It hurts me to even leave a bad review, but I felt like I have no choice after this situation. Just think they did this to me someone who's young that doesn't know about cars. They can do this to your older grandmother or grandfather and seriously get them hurt. Think about that. Nice and hard think about it.

While driving home from work I was alerted I was losing air in my rear tire. I pulled over and…read morenoticed I had a nail in my tire. I then drove into this tire shop at 6:15 p.m. I asked the attendant if they can repair my tire. She said they were closed, but maybe they would be able to help me. The manager said it would be no problem. Ten minutes later I was on my way. Tire repaired! Additionally the personnel I encountered at Mavis Tire was a breath of fresh air. They went the extra mile to please all their customers as I noticed other patrons thanking the staff for a job done well.

I only went here because my normal mechanic wasn't open yet and I went in early in the morning…read more(around 8am) because of a flat tire and was told I couldn't get it patched due to a so-called "ring of death." On top of that, they tried to tell me my rear brakes needed to be done soon -- which immediately raised a red flag because I had just had my rear brakes replaced in December. Not feeling confident in what I was being told, I asked them to just put my spare on and went to my regular mechanic afterward. Not only were they able to patch the tire without any issue, but they also showed me there was simply a screw in it -- nothing close to what I had been told at Mavis. They also confirmed my rear brakes are in perfectly fine condition. (Which I figured as again the pads, rotors and calipers where just replaced by my mechanic in December) What makes this even more upsetting is the feeling that I was being taken advantage of. I came in wearing scrubs, clearly on my way to or from work in healthcare, and it's incredibly disheartening to think that someone would try to push unnecessary repairs on me anyway. It's not just about being a woman -- it's about basic honesty and integrity, especially when someone is trusting you with their safety and vehicle. I understand that shops need to make money, but misleading customers and recommending unnecessary work crosses a line. I won't be returning, and I strongly recommend others get a second opinion outside of this establishment.
