I made the mistake of taking my Toyota here for a loose splash shield (at most a 300 job and that is being generous). Rather than simply fix the shield, they took apart my bumper and headlights without my permission- they later claim this was necessary to "figure out what was wrong"- such that the car was no longer drivable (and thus stuck at the shop) and then proceeded to quote me over 3000 a few days later just to "put the car back together" since they said they couldn't put the car back together properly without replacing all these parts that were apparently now broken including the bumper and headlights (even though I had photo evidence that the bumper and headlights were completely fine before taking it in to them, photos which they initially were not aware of). Every time I tried to ask for photos so they could point out what exactly was broken or a more detailed breakdown of the cost, the owner Joe would reply something vague like "its not something you can see from photos anyways" or "you wouldn't understand the cost breakdown" and just start rattling off a bunch of jargon over the phone like I wouldn't understand any of it anyway. Very frustrating. After all this frustration for what should've been a simple fix, I told them I just wanted my car back and to please not to do anything in terms of repairs as I wanted to take my car elsewhere. They said that it would cost me $600 if I wanted to get my car back due to the time they spent to take apart the car and put it back together...keep in mind this is without replacing any parts or doing anything whatsoever useful other than remove the splash shield (not even to put a new one on)! So $600 for them to do absolutely nothing and return my car in a worse state than when I brought it in. Somewhere early in our interactions, Joe also implicitly suggested I commit insurance fraud and tell the insurance company I ran over a curb to see if they would cover the cost of full repairs. I told them I didn't even have any collision coverage when this happened so they were out of luck there. Overall VERY dishonest and icky interactions with the owner who was obviously hoping to make a quick buck by taking advantage of someone who he thought didn't know any better rather than trying to establish a loyal customer base. In the end, he (Joe) along with Mike the other manager did agree to lower the cost of putting my bumper back on, but ONLY if I paid it completely in cash. He was adamant about this and would not accept any other form of payment even though they clearly had a card reader in the shop. He got angry and defensive when confronted about this being shady. In the end I paid the 450 cash just to get the car back in my possession but it's honestly in much worse shape than when I took it in. The only useful thing they did was rip off the splash shield completely so it was no longer hanging close to the ground. It is now in my trunk and I still have to take my car somewhere else to have it replaced. There was yellow markup paint left all over the side of my vehicle when they returned it, there were three new deep scratches on the bumper that were not there when I took it in (looks like somebody keyed it; unclear if careless or intentional), the headlight was cracked, and the bumper was now completely misaligned after they decided to take it apart without my permission. I see why they insisted on cash only now as they probably did not want to risk a legal/card dispute from their shoddy work. Hope pocketing the 450 was worth it; very short sighted IMO at the cost of their reputation. TLDR: learned my mistake; do not bring your car to them. I am taking the 450 loss and all the damages they caused because 1. not worth the mental energy to deal further with these guys and 2. I do not want to risk more damage/bamboozling in their hands. I will be bringing my car to another shop to hopefully undo some of the damage they did. please be more careful and learn from my mistake. Wish it weren't so hard to find a reputable mechanic around here!!

It was there less then 24 hours and I asked if they can tow it to a location less then 5 miles away. When I went to go pay the bill it was almost 900$. They charged me for things they didn't even do. I asked if there was anyway they can work with me with the price and the flat out said no. Not only that but they were so rude and cold that not even once did they ask if I was ok from the accident. Everyone i spoke to from other people involved to all the insurance people that was the first question Everyone asked but not them they were only focused on overcharging me to have my truck there for less then 24 hours. I would never in my life use this location nor would I recommend this to a person.

To begin, we had a car seat/ stroller that was given to us by a well meaning friend. Upon review of it, Chris immediately said that it did not meet current safety guidelines and suggested that we cut the straps and throw it out, which we did just that! I already felt safer knowing that he was knowledgeable about the most recent recalls and safety measures. Then, with patience, he installed our new car seat and bases in each of our vehicles, at no charge, and gave us a FULL education about the seat itself, how to use it, and so much more information that I never would have expected to learn. Chris is the authority on car seat installs and I would never go ANYWHERE else. I have already recommended him to all my friends and family who are expecting. A+++++++ for the service at Continental.
