I was sideswiped in a hit and run in town, and was recommended to this shop as they are part of Geico Repair Xpress. How serendipitous! They streamlined the entire process and made the repairs easily. Unfortunately, there were some bureaucratic issues in getting my deductible advanced, since the party at-fault was to be billed. Tracy, at the body shop, is truly my guardian Angel. She treated me like family and got everything resolved. She also had the body shop clean my car like it was detailed! I cannot recommend this shop enough to anyone in town. I am so thankful for them. Truly.

I was going all the way to the floor and it still wasn't stopping while I just got this done and paid this amount of money for the amount of work.. OK yes I understand some of the car business is a little bit of a scam but you guys at Matt one stop almost got me hurt seriously I almost got killed because I didn't know that they didn't even put my rear brake pads in correctly or bled my brakes I have a 2007 Honda Civic but paid $1800 in brake parts and labor? Just wow that's something you pay for a newer car. I have a 2007. So just know that if this place knows that you make money they're gonna try and squeeze it out of you no matter what they don't care if you're about to crash into a car going 50 mph because you can't break because they didn't put in things correctly.. Matt's one stop stop your shit stop being greedy because it's getting people hurt and if you want to be greedy, do the job right. thousands and thousands of dollars going towards this place while I could've got it done fixed for much cheaper at anywhere else. And I've been going to this place for a while. It hurts me to even leave a bad review, but I felt like I have no choice after this situation. Just think they did this to me someone who's young that doesn't know about cars. They can do this to your older grandmother or grandfather and seriously get them hurt. Think about that. I made the mistake of taking my Toyota here for a loose splash shield (at most a 300 job and that is being generous). Rather than simply fix the shield, they took apart my bumper and headlights without my permission- they later claim this was necessary to "figure out what was wrong"- such that the car was no longer drivable (and thus stuck at the shop) and then proceeded to quote me over 3000 a few days later just to "put the car back together" since they said they couldn't put the car back together properly without replacing all these parts that were apparently now broken including the bumper and headlights (even though I had photo evidence that the bumper and headlights were completely fine before taking it in to them, photos which they initially were not aware of). Every time I tried to ask for photos so they could point out what exactly was broken or a more detailed breakdown of the cost, the owner Joe would reply something vague like "its not something you can see from photos anyways" or "you wouldn't understand the cost breakdown" and just start rattling off a bunch of jargon over the phone like I wouldn't understand any of it anyway. Very frustrating. After all this frustration for what should've been a simple fix, I told them I just wanted my car back and to please not to do anything in terms of repairs as I wanted to take my car elsewhere. They said that it would cost me $600 if I wanted to get my car back due to the time they spent to take apart the car and put it back together...keep in mind this is without replacing any parts or doing anything whatsoever useful other than remove the splash shield (not even to put a new one on)! So $600 for them to do absolutely nothing and return my car in a worse state than when I brought it in. Somewhere early in our interactions, Joe also implicitly suggested I commit insurance fraud and tell the insurance company I ran over a curb to see if they would cover the cost of full repairs. I told them I didn't even have any collision coverage when this happened so they were out of luck there. Overall VERY dishonest and icky interactions with the owner who was obviously hoping to make a quick buck by taking advantage of someone who he thought didn't know any better rather than trying to establish a loyal customer base. In the end, he (Joe) along with Mike the other manager did agree to lower the cost of putting my bumper back on, but ONLY if I paid it completely in cash. He was adamant about this and would not accept any other form of payment even though they clearly had a card reader in the shop. He got angry and defensive when confronted about this being shady. In the end I paid the 450 cash just to get the car back in my possession but it's honestly in much worse shape than when I took it in. The only useful thing they did was rip off the splash shield completely so it was no longer hanging close to the ground. It is now in my trunk and I still have to take my car somewhere else to have it replaced. There was yellow markup paint left all over the side of my vehicle when they returned it, there were three new deep scratches on the bumper that were not there when I took it in (looks like somebody keyed it; unclear if careless or intentional), the headlight was cracked, and the bumper was now completely misaligned after they decided to take it apart without my permission. I see why they insisted on cash only now as they probably did not want to risk a legal/card dispute from their shoddy work. Hope pocketing the 450 was worth it; very short sighted IMO at the cost of their reputation. TLDR: learned my mistake; do not bring your car to them. I am taking the 450 loss and all the damages they caused because 1. not worth the mental energy to deal further with these guys and 2. I do not want to risk more damage/bamboozling in their hands. I will be bringing my car to another shop to hopefully undo some of the damage they did. please be more careful and learn from my mistake. Wish it weren't so hard to find a reputable mechanic around here!!

I asked Mark, the owner, where the name Pinky's came from. He explained that they are a female friendly establishment!! I greatly appreciate that because I have been taken advantage of way too many times in the past by dishonest mechanics! Also, they just like the color pink so the name stuck, voila!! My brakes needed repair and Mark spent so much time with me, after the repair, explaining why they wore so quickly. It was because I wasn't braking correctly! Now I try to pay more attention to this! Another time my husband gave me a coupon he had for a special they were running for an oil change, which is what I was bringing my car in for. I usually speak with Stephanie, in customer service, at the front desk. She is the nicest person and the epitome of what customer service should be. She goes out of her way to accomodate you and is extremely efficient! This particular day though, I dealt with Aggie, part owner of Pinky's. The coupon was for part synthetic oil but my car took full synthetic oil so Aggie told me the cost beforehand, which wasn't really much more anyway! Another time, my tire had a slow leak because I ran over a nail. My tire was patched and a year later it's still fine. My daughter has a 2013 Hyundai which has needed a lot of work over the past year. Mark diagnosed everything accurately and made the necessary repairs at a very reasonable price with a long term warranty! I also have to comment on the waiting area and bathroom as I'm one to pay attention to detail. The waiting area is clean and tidy with a TV and snack machine so it's very comfortable should you choose to wait for your car. The bathroom is also very clean and tidy and.... there's PINK toilet paper!!! That's just awesome!! If you are looking for a great and honest Mechanic, your search stops here! I would give Pinky's 10++ stars if I could. My entire family will only bring their cars to Pinky's to be servicedI We will never trust anyone else!
