This morning my right front wheel bearing broke apart. I was able to get to a safe place to park my…read moretruck. I'm living between paydays I called Grumpy's Towing. The gentleman on the phone gave me a great price, $150. I only had $50 available. I asked if he could take the $50and wait till my next payday. He said he had to ask his boss. An hour later he calls me back and asked if I was able to find a way to get my truck to my house. I had not. He then took my offer and sent a driver to help. Driver Scott arrived and very carefully picked up my truck. The damage was really bad. The wheel was only attached to the truck be the brake caliper. Scott loaded and off loaded my truck without causing further damage. Thank you Grumpy's Towing and thank you Scott

I received a notice from Drake's that my vehicle, which I had sold to a neighbor about 1/2 years…read moreago, had been towed and was in their possession. I got the notice as I was still shown as the owner of record. I got a hold of Drakes and spoke to Ray the owner. I told him that I no longer owned the car; however, as the person I sold it to did not reach out to the DMV, the responsibility was mine. I asked for his patience to try and research the issue. Long story short, the car had then been sold two more times! AND, not one of the three owners reached out to the DMV. Ray suggested I get a vehicle printout from the DMV to show ownership. I did so and of course it showed me as the owner. As Ray had been patient with me, and I knew that the original title was most likely not around, I went today to pay his costs. The actual amount was a lot and Ray had told me that he would not charge me the entire amount. Ray was not on site; however, Austin, one of his employees was. Austin got a hold of Ray on the phone and told him I had provided the vehicle printout showing I was owner of the vehicle. Much to my surprise, Ray told Austin he would not charge me at all. Tears came to my eyes as I had expected to pay for some of their costs. Ray was a true gentleman during the entire process. He helped me out from the first time I called. It pays to be up front from the beginning and I kept Ray informed every step of the way. I did not expect him to drop the entire cost. I cannot thank Drakes Towing enough for how I was treated. I would highly recommend them for your towing needs. Thank you to Ray and Austin for restoring my faith in people! It sure made my day and makes me want to keep on paying it forward. Lisa K. *****
