They said the…read morepart was there but when I got it back I found they DID NOT hook up the fob sensor for the drivers door and when I look at the door the cover for the screw inside the door handle was missing. They fixed the fob sensor and said they would order the part, month or so later they did not call back so i called them and was told they can't get the part so to bad so sad. I always thought these guys were great to and have recommended them to others in the past but I see I was wrong.

The owner walked off and didn't help. Worse than that when they installed the exhaust manifold they forgot to main bolts which ultimately caught my truck on fire and melted my radiator reservoir and wiring on my way back to AZ. Wouldn't not recommend them at all.

Attempted to contact Bubbas and tell them and got nothing but lies including a fake email account from a make believe CPA stating that the van refund for repair was in its way...I am leaving out key details but I'm not trying to write a book. But please for the love of your vehicle, DO NOT take it here. You would be better paying a high school kid to rebuild your engine and prob would do a better job than these thieves. The diesel mechanics said they could repair it for $5000 or remove the DEF system for $1600. I chose to remove it. Now 2026 my truck was stolen and was recovered with no keys. No body in the area would work on it to get new keys cause of the missing DEF system, especially the Ford dealership. I went to Rapid Diesel and talked to them. They said they could take care of my problem of no keys and check the truck out for any other issues. They were great to work with. They notice that the brakes have been rode hard and desperately needed replacing which they did. They were very upfront with everything, no surprises. Next time I need diesel repair in Rapid City there is no question, I'm going to go to Rapid Diesel. I can't say enough good about them, they were great.

Dropped the truck off the night before, and they said the work I needed done could be done in 1 day. I informed them that I could only afford to have this truck down for one day. After having the truck sit at the shop for hours, they called me with a bunch of items they claim needed work, which did not, and then didn't even have the parts ready to go for the work I originally requested. After 5 hours of the truck sitting there, they did zero work and blamed it on "waiting for Peterbilt to get back with them on part prices." That's funny, each time I call Peterbilt for parts they immediately tell me the price and availability over the phone. These guys have no sense of urgency and will try to "up-sell" you rather than just do the work you requested. Then they had the gall to charge me $160 for an hour of work! They are nice people, but I don't need nice, I need results and good work. I won't be going back here.
