Quick setup, professional, cordial. Reasonable price for what we received.

We had the BEST experience with CHY Massages for my sister's bridal weekend in Palm Springs!…read more Celine and Yesenia gave amazing massages, and Tina did the most relaxing facials and was so sweet. Everyone in our group was so happy with their services! They were punctual, professional, and so accommodating. Since it was a little too hot outside (September), they set everything up indoors for us, which made the experience even better. The bride literally can't stop talking about how amazing it was her favorite part. Having massages and facials together was truly the icing on the cake for our weekend. If you're in the Palm Springs area and looking for a group spa experience, I HIGHLY recommend CHY Massages. We would absolutely book with them again! ‍

0/10 on all accounts: cleanliness, service, and quality of massage. Don't believe all the good…read more reviews. I booked a 90 minute table massage with 3 friends and only one of us had a decent massage. As for my experience, my massage therapist did not speak English which made communicating my needs very difficult. She also did not seemed properly trained. She didn't use any type of technique other than rolling her forearm up and down my back and squeezing my shoulders and neck. When she moved to my lower body she barely used lotion and was pretty much rubbing my skin dry. She only rubbed from the knees down and she never massaged my upper legs. She then massaged my feet and went back to rubbing my upper body including my face! She put a blob of lotion on my face and started to rub it in at which point I told her to stop. She didn't understand me and I kept saying that I don't want her to touch my face and just rub my arms and neck instead. Why would I want you to touch my face after you just rubbed my feet??? My friend was also getting her massage in the same room and her massage therapist had to translate for me. He finally spoke to her and told her to stop. My friends also had bad experiences. One massage therapist was on the phone texting and taking calls during the massage. She was using one hand at times because she was holding her phone. The rest of the massage sucked. She squeezed the hell out of my shoulders and I kept asking her to go lighter but of course she didn't understand me. Now onto the premises. It's hot as hell in there as it's an old building. They have oscillating fans to keep cool. The walls don't go all the way to ceiling and you can literally hear the people as if they are in the same room. They have one small bathroom which had buckets in the sink collecting dirty water. They didn't have paper towels for drying your hands, instead they had a regular cloth towel for everyone to use. Gross! I try not to judge a book by its cover but this hole in the wall is literally that. I had hoped that the excellent reviews regarding customers' experiences would make up for the less than stellar appearance but unfortunately that's not the case. You get what you see. Unfortunately I did not get what I paid for, as it's a crime to charge as much as they do for a horrible massage. The massage chair where I get my pedicure gives better massages.

Place was very clean, quiet & peaceful. No issues with parking but might be hard to miss in a business shopping center in the corner I did the 60 min, it was worth every min, solid experience, ended up feeling really rejuvenated They are very dependable & were very consistent with the level of pressure through out the massage Pricing was very affordable, easy booking online then you get a quick text confirmation then boom you're on your way They were always asking how we felt if it needed more pressure or less and where the troubled areas are that they should look out for & where they can help the most You can tell they pay attention to detail and their clients I now make this one of my main massage places to frequent when I make my way back to the desert! All the therapists I have gotten are newer, but all of them have been excellent. When I book, I am always asked what level of pressure I'd like and any areas that I want addressed. I appreciate this because some of the guys may not understand last minute requests. I have never been shorted time. On one visit, I was given a room with a different table than the others. I asked to not get that one in the future (I'm really tall). No problem! They do have some midweek specials, for earlier massages. Prices are reasonable, given the level of service you get.

At first, I got a response that said, "Unable to service," when all I did was ask about a standard deep tissue massage and also asked if they could recommend a chiropractor. All they had to do was mention that they can't recommend a chiropractor, but that they do offer massage, but instead I got a terse "unable to service." Since then, I tried to follow up several times. I asked just what their basic pricing is, and they simply refuse to respond. I have had some outstanding bodywork therapists, both in Los Angeles and Riverside counties, over the last 30 years. Now that I live in the Palm Springs area full-time, I was looking for somebody consistent who wasnt expensive, like at the big spas, and I also wanted somebody who could give a good, strong, legit massage. Instead I get silence when asking a basic question. I guess Palm Springs Men's Wellness Retreat doesn't want my business at all, and that's a shame. This practice is not going to last if it doesn't understand the very basics of customer service.

Got the custom combo hot stone massage but there wasn't anything custom about it. The massage was a standard recipe that all the staff follow. I know because my friend received the same exact massage in the same room. Though it was good pressure for my upper body, I had asked her to focus more on my legs/hips but she then she used lighter pressure instead. I would've liked more reflexology on my feet. The towel where my face was had a very strong vinegar (sour) smell. It took me more than 10 minutes to get over the smell....not sure if it's what they use to clean it.
