Doctor Natalia is awesome (never went to any other doctor from Illinois Dental Center). She is very professional, carrying and always make sure their patients are comfortable during the visit. When comes to their staff I assume they are okay, most of them are nice, especially assistants, however, there is one receptionist who is very rude and I can't stand her but it will not keep me from not coming back for my regular visits.

I was shocked, 2 doctors were working with me and none of them didn't do this, as a matter fact it was covered by insurance by that time, and they gave me 1 year (BS warranty) at the end of this story they denied fix it, and they said it is not their fault (warranty was not applicable) I left this horrible place. When my husband lost his job we were forced to get this coverage and every dentist that accepted it was rude, cruel to children, and treated you the way they treat patients at Stroger Hospital, like you are dirt. The dentists here have always treated my children with respect, they are great with small kids, especially a chatty four year old. They were patient, kind, and truly cared for my children regardless of the kind of insurance we had. Only thing is they only accept medicaid before 3p.m. which makes it kind of hard to make appointments when kids are in school. The receptionists may be a little hard to understand when you call since they primarily speak Polish but the dentists speak perfect English and explain things in a manner that the patient can understand. They have state of the art equipment and you don't have to be stuck with a needle for fillings. Thank you for treating us like real people.

The receptionist was super friendly and helpful from the moment I walked in the door. The dental assistant, Alex, and Dr. Tavolzhanskaya were both very gentle and caring. The Doctor was extremely thorough, doing an exam for oral cancer before we got started and also checked my blood pressure. I very much appreciated her attention to detail when reviewing my medical history and making recommendations. The X-rays of my teeth were up on a giant screen that I could see, which was pretty cool. They even gave me a goody bag at the end.

Staff was super friendly and the appointment went pretty quickly. The procedure I'll need is a bit pricey but they gave me all payment options and price up front. I'll go back in a couple of weeks for the procedure but all in all a great experience. And I'm quite fearful of the dentist so this is as glowing a review as I can give.

Hard to know where to start as our experiences here were so bad in so many ways. First off, they…read morekeep your card 'on file' and just charge you whatever the maximum might be for the work they claim to be doing. Then, if your insurance does cover some of the charge, they 'put the difference on your account.' Now, I can't imagine many people even know they have credit on account but we ended up with HUNDREDS of dollars just being 'held' by them, apparently awaiting the next thing they'd tell us we needed done (unnecessarily). Then, on top of them over-prescribing work, my husband was given TOO MUCH anesthetic and started to have a panic attack. NO ONE was nearby to help him; he almost walked out and actually called me from the office. Finally, an assistant helped him calm down but the 'dentist' was long gone and seemed quite annoyed that the procedure had to wait. We had both been going to the dentist on schedule for the past 20 years; there is just no way we needed all the work they were telling us to do. We finally cut them off and found another new dentist before they could get their claws in further but it took A LOT of calls and combing through paperwork to get the right amount of money back from them that was being 'held on our accounts.' Oh, and they sent my husband home with a $27 tube toothpaste they didn't mention they'd be charging for and applied fluoride (at a cost) without asking or clarifying that it would cost more. VERY disappointed with their sneaky ways. We loved our old dentist but she moved. We've now found another independent provider (Zephyr Dental - yay!) but will never go to one of these conglomerates again if we can help it. Different dentists depending on the day and again, just lots of over-prescribing work that was not done well. Just had to have my new dentist refill a cavity that they filled LESS THAN A YEAR AGO because it came out. Glad we got out when we did but wish we had never gone here at all.
