I went to different dentist few times (employer only offered HMO) and couldn't wait till I have a chance to go back to this place. Doctor Natalia is awesome (never went to any other doctor from Illinois Dental Center). She is very professional, carrying and always make sure their patients are comfortable during the visit. When comes to their staff I assume they are okay, most of them are nice, especially assistants, however, there is one receptionist who is very rude and I can't stand her but it will not keep me from not coming back for my regular visits.

After almost 8 month I came back to clinic to fix it and my appointment was rescheduled twice first time because doctor #1 didn't do that filing and a week later Jewish Russian doctor she was working also on some of my dental problems, she said that she also didn't do that. I was shocked, 2 doctors were working with me and none of them didn't do this, as a matter fact it was covered by insurance by that time, and they gave me 1 year (BS warranty) at the end of this story they denied fix it, and they said it is not their fault (warranty was not applicable) I left this horrible place. I will never come back again even for FREE, Stay away from that clinic

This is one of the few dental offices that accept medicaid. It's the government program for kids,…read morealso known as kid care, public aid medical card. When my husband lost his job we were forced to get this coverage and every dentist that accepted it was rude, cruel to children, and treated you the way they treat patients at Stroger Hospital, like you are dirt. The dentists here have always treated my children with respect, they are great with small kids, especially a chatty four year old. They were patient, kind, and truly cared for my children regardless of the kind of insurance we had. Only thing is they only accept medicaid before 3p.m. which makes it kind of hard to make appointments when kids are in school. The receptionists may be a little hard to understand when you call since they primarily speak Polish but the dentists speak perfect English and explain things in a manner that the patient can understand. They have state of the art equipment and you don't have to be stuck with a needle for fillings. Thank you for treating us like real people.

However, the dentist was alright. There wasn't much of a conversation. He was very straight to the point, did his part and left while the assistant did the rest. I realized that when I made an appointment.

There really is not a good way to have an infected tooth treated. The dentist is amazing! He explained everything as he was doing the procedure. His assistants are great too. The office is beautiful. Very clean. I need a lot of dental work done so this is definitely my new dentist. It's only been 2 hours since my tooth was pulled but all I have is a bit of soreness. I highly recommend this office and will be referring Anyone that needs dental work to this amazing place!!

I had a new patient exam/xrays/cleaning this week and couldn't be happier with the care I received!…read moreThe office was very modern and there are individual patient rooms (I've been to other dentists where this isn't the case). The receptionist was super friendly and helpful from the moment I walked in the door. The dental assistant, Alex, and Dr. Tavolzhanskaya were both very gentle and caring. The Doctor was extremely thorough, doing an exam for oral cancer before we got started and also checked my blood pressure. I very much appreciated her attention to detail when reviewing my medical history and making recommendations. The X-rays of my teeth were up on a giant screen that I could see, which was pretty cool. They even gave me a goody bag at the end.

I am looking for a new dentist, so I tried this place out. I was first examined by the dentist,…read morewhich I thought was odd, because I've always gotten a cleaning first from other dentists. She barely looked at my mouth and says "Oh this whole side (gesturing to the right side of my mouth) has cavities." Then, she tells me there's plaque in between my teeth, and that she wants to see if my insurance will pay for a "deep cleaning". A "deep cleaning" (scaling and root planing) is usually recommended if you have periodontal (gum) disease -- meaning tartar buildup below the gumline, gum pocket depths of 4mm or more, or bone loss seen on X-rays. It's fairly invasive. They numb one side of your mouth at a time (it requires multiple visits, too). She was very insisting that I need one, dispite no x-rays or other data points validating this. No thank you! She probably saw I had good insurance and was trying to take advantage of me. When I went to checkout, they tried to schedule me to get 10(!) cavities filled! I'll pass. Time to find a new dentist (and a second opinion).

Hard to know where to start as our experiences here were so bad in so many ways. First off, they…read morekeep your card 'on file' and just charge you whatever the maximum might be for the work they claim to be doing. Then, if your insurance does cover some of the charge, they 'put the difference on your account.' Now, I can't imagine many people even know they have credit on account but we ended up with HUNDREDS of dollars just being 'held' by them, apparently awaiting the next thing they'd tell us we needed done (unnecessarily). Then, on top of them over-prescribing work, my husband was given TOO MUCH anesthetic and started to have a panic attack. NO ONE was nearby to help him; he almost walked out and actually called me from the office. Finally, an assistant helped him calm down but the 'dentist' was long gone and seemed quite annoyed that the procedure had to wait. We had both been going to the dentist on schedule for the past 20 years; there is just no way we needed all the work they were telling us to do. We finally cut them off and found another new dentist before they could get their claws in further but it took A LOT of calls and combing through paperwork to get the right amount of money back from them that was being 'held on our accounts.' Oh, and they sent my husband home with a $27 tube toothpaste they didn't mention they'd be charging for and applied fluoride (at a cost) without asking or clarifying that it would cost more. VERY disappointed with their sneaky ways. We loved our old dentist but she moved. We've now found another independent provider (Zephyr Dental - yay!) but will never go to one of these conglomerates again if we can help it. Different dentists depending on the day and again, just lots of over-prescribing work that was not done well. Just had to have my new dentist refill a cavity that they filled LESS THAN A YEAR AGO because it came out. Glad we got out when we did but wish we had never gone here at all.
