You can easily get an appointment when you need one. We never wait long. Dr. Chokshi is so patient and good (I am always so anxious, but shenputs me at ease). My kids love coming here since and have been coming since they were 2 years old. Prices are affordable, and recently when we lost insurance, Dr. Chokshi was able to work with us to keep our teeth healthy. There really is no better dentist.

Some days later, I receive a call from the old lady that works at the front desk, talking about money and payment, and when I asked her about a charge that was on my dental insurance, she started acting like she cannot hear me, and from the way she acted, it was obvious that she was making it up. The moment I walked into the dentist, it was obvious that all they cared about was the money, not to treat people because they spoke to me more about money than about my condition, especially the front desk lady. She's very unprofessional and she kicks clients away with her attitude.

My body genuinely froze in fear and I pleaded with my dentist to find another way. She told me it could not be delayed anymore and offered me a few different referrals. When discovering how much it was going to cost (my dental insurance had been maxed out for the year), I felt even more defeated. I called the offices that my dentist suggested, Dr. Karras being one of the options, as well as a handful of other endodontists. Dr. Karras was on par with most of the endodontists I had called, but I decided to go with him because my dentist was sooooo insistent that Dr. Karras is the BEST for root canals and that is who she trusts as her endodontist. I really did believe my dentist when she said it because she had repeated it so many times but I couldn't help but feel so terrified because of my first root canal experience being so horrible. However, the experience at Dr. Karras's office was fantastic from start to finish. Anda who was the woman I spoke with on the phone was empathetic, direct, and was so helpful when I was asking questions about the service and costs. A lot of other places were clearly annoyed with my questions about cost and a little ambiguous on what the total cost would be but Anda had no problem being direct which put my heart at ease. She was also so kind and understanding when I was telling her I was struggling because of the pain I was in with my tooth but still felt hesitant to pay out of pocket. I felt like the other offices were just a "say you'll pay or just hang up" attitude. The technician I had for the root canal was also amazing. I so wish I remembered her name because she was SO sweet. She was so empathetic and really put her best effort to help calm me down when I was shaking from fear. She asked me questions about my life to distract me, told me about herself, and even offered to hold my hand when I was getting overwhelmed. With an office with such great employees, it's no surprise that Dr. Karras is just as amazing. He seems intimidating at first because he just has a strong presence and is very straight-forward but he clearly knew exactly what he was doing. He was patient with me when I was telling him I was scared and was literally shaking and breathing heavily from fear. He just told me not to worry he was nonchalant but not in a passive or arrogant way at all. It was just confirming that he was an expert and to trust him. I have to say, it was pretty painless. Not AT ALL like my first experience. It obviously was a little painful for the numbing shots since the area was highly sensitive but other than that and the intial drilling for the numbing shot for the tooth, it was like like wham bam done. I know my dentist said Dr. Karras was the best but this was even better than my expectations! Root canals are no longer one of my fears in life! Though...I still hope I don't need anymore. I highly commend AND recommend the Karras Endotontist team. I really can't say enough about all of them. I am truly grateful.

He seemed aggravated that I thought it was that tooth and said it was not that tooth, it was probably another. He did not offer to scan it or investigate it any further. I have been dealing with the pain for a very long time thinking this must be normal, this was my first root canal. I finally decided to see another endodontist last week, out of the network, because I needed someone who I could trust, who was a referral from someone I knew. To my shock, the new Endodontist explained that it is that tooth causing the pain. There was an infection from the root and has spread to my sinus and has destroyed the bone. I understand that this happens and that they sometimes Endodontists do not get all the pulp out and this can be the result; however, to be dismissed in 2015 from Daniel Janowski, without further investigation caused it to get to the point that now it requires a Apicoectomy. When I called Daniel Janowski about this, it took him a week to return my call. I called him four times during that week. I explained the timeline and what occurred. He asked what I wanted him to do about it and I explained that he should probably cover the costs since this was a result of his decision making. He chose to hang up on me instead of trying to resolve this or explain how this could have happened. I have never met a more unprofessional person in the dental industry. I realize that this is not worth an attorney taking a case like this; however, I feel the public should know. Thank you.

I had to wait almost an hour past my appointment time, but the doctor himself came out and apologized and explained he ran into some trouble with the current patient and assured me that if I needed extra time and attention he would show me the same courtesy. Wow! Well, that's all he had to say. Of course if I was the one in the chair I would hope he wouldn't rush through just to get to the next patient. When it was my turn, he began commenting on what gorgeous long roots I have and how that means good things and blah blah blah and I might have more pain after. Okay, that's weird, but I love it when people love their profession so much they get geeky about it. He gave me various pills and instructions and I left. It was a Saturday afternoon. About two hours later I was in tears, and I decided to call just in case this wasn't normal, because it wasn't really what he described would happen. No answer so I left a voicemail. He immediately called back to say he was actually leaving for the day when he heard the phone ring so he checked the message and called back! Truly a stand up teeth man. He explained that the pain was due to the long roots tangling with my sinuses and gave further instructions to help the pain and symptoms to watch out for. I was fine by the next day. I felt he was extremely competent, professional, and helpful. I hope I don't have to go back, but I'll know I'm in good hands if I do.
