Last June I solicited a bid from Sonoma-Marin Construction to replace a large 2,500 square foot…read moredriveway. They responded quickly to my email but I didn't hear back. Then, in September, I received a call from someone asking if I was still interested in a proposal. It made me feel like my project wasn't big enough. They finally sent the proposal at the beginning of September with apologies. So four months later I received a proposal that was 20% higher than the next highest. I think they were pricing themselves out of a project they didn't want to do. They could have just told me so in June. Today, with a different contractor we started the work of replacing the 2,500 SF driveway plus we are adding a patio and replacing our 50 foot public sidewalk and street curb for less than the total from Sonoma-Marin provided for just the driveway. I think Sonoma-Marin needs to treat ALL potential customers with the same respect they treat customers with bigger projects.

They came out and looked at the window and told me it wasn't leaking. Another guy came and looked at it. Had it fixed in about a half an hour I would not use them again. Chris, you did come out and you told me the window wasn't leaking. I tried to talk to your guy that was doing the roof over the bay window and he argued with me to. The window wasn't used. It came from the window company because the other one had failed, but this was just put in improperly and or not sealed correctly, so don't tell me I didn't try and call you to come out here and make it right. You basically blew me off.
