Was inked here recently. Tattoo on a bony area I'd been previously with friends. Came back because of the genuine people here. Upfront on the pricing, attentive, and accommodating. I was a little baby and twitched from the pain. Regardless of me inconveniencing the artist, Eric was awesome and patient. Music is a little too loud for me. I'm hard of hearing and I can't hear people when there's loud music. Otherwise it's a clean and comfortable space. read more

Went into the Gilbert rd location for two piercings, a simple earlobe piercing and a cartilage piercing. I have no negatives for the earlobe piercing except that there's not many options for piercing types and they use butterfly backs which im not a fan of but that one was done fine but the cartilage one was done CROOKED and I mean it was coming out the back at a downward 45 degree angle or worse . I tried whatever to save it but ended up having to take it out because it was so crooked it was causing significant irritation several months later and pushing on the skin. Would not recommend the male piercer at the Gilbert rd location whatsoever. read more

Bad news first: I was pierced by an apprentice and my loud scream didn't resonate well with him. Nevertheless, the one who did pierce me; she was kind, understanding, professional, and relatable. They gave me a candy after and reassured me that my low pain tolerance is quite common and nothing to be embarrassed about. JACKED UP BY JOSEPH LIED TO BY MANAGEMENT PHOTOS OF TEXTS ATTACHED I went in looking to get an american traditional type dagger. Super simple, right? We picked out a design, he drew a stencil and as it began to heal, i noticed more and more issues due to poor application. the lines aren't remotely straight. The smaller "gem" is undistinguishable. The handles are different sizes. The shading on the bottom was just an attempt to cover up sloppy lines. Reached out to the shop with my concerns about the tattoo. I was promised this tattoo fixed along with an additional tattoo at no cost. Every time I try to reach out to the GM I'm ignored. Wouldn't recommend this shop of clowns. All the staff parks in the front to make it look busy leaving no parking for actual paying customers. And the saga continues... Gave me an appointment time that doesn't exist and then unsends the message so I can't reference it the day of when the time given to me isn't even during business hours. None of the staff ever know what's going on. Management is never available to speak to. To further complicate things, staff was told to ghost me. Management continues to tell me lies and leaves their employees hanging. Clearly can't be taken for their word. I really feel bad for the staff and any customers. Claiming to refuse service due to bad google review. I waited over a week to update this review giving them a chance to right their wrong. Don't get inked here. read more

Tito is amazing, he fixed my partially done spinal tattoo, I had previously done the day before. It was not centered from a different tattoo artist not at this location and the shop took me in to fix it. Tito fixed it 1000000000x better then I expected it could have been and made it centered added some great key pieces to make it look intentional and mesh all together well. I ended up getting 2 more pieces that came out amazing the next day after. And will be back to fix and finish my dragon and add a cherry blossom. Overall my experience here was amazing. All the tattoo artists were so nice one even let me use his charger cause my phone died. Over all the atmosphere is really amazing and for someone who came in with a uncentered messed up not even fully done spinal tattoo and same day I walk in to be completely fixed and a whole brand new piece and completely done. I gained my confidence back. Pricing is also reasonable for their work. They are clean, sanitary and really work with you to get what you want. Mind you the tattoo artists I went to before I came here just slapped stencils on me didn't even give me the experience this shop gave me. Which speaks volumes that they care about their customers. In my review I didn't post photos I haven't took any yet but I will update in few days with everything I got done. Thank you Tito by the way. About 4 months ago, I went into Ranger looking for a small coverup and another small piece on my wrist. I got referred to Ruben for my artist, and he did an exceptional job at both pieces! They healed quickly with no issues and I always get compliments on them! Ruben is such a personable guy who made the environment super welcoming and fun. Worst shop in the valley by far!! They try to pass these off as quality tattoos, but they're far from it. Essentially, you get convict tattoos. The shop owner even said it was a shit tattoo and would issue a refund. They obviously didn't and now refuse to refund my money. I got a Japanese tattoo from here, just one Japanese word, two symbols... the stencil looked right but when the tattoo was done it was so messed up that it didn't even translate. They gave me a refund and some money back when I was crying about it in store but thought I should still let others know. My friend also asked for a red tattoo and they started it in black. The tattoo says enough. It's pretty nasty, blown out, and looks like someone did it in their basement. The artist seemed to want to talk more about himself than asking anything about me. The experience was pretty poor and the tattoo was the worst I've ever received. The artist clearly needed more training and the owner gave me a false sense of security by hyping the artist up. I was sexually harassed by the owner Ray Hinojosa/Axe Capital or whatever his name is. I went in to interview for an apprenticeship and i was met with constant sexual comments and questions about if i do Onlyfans. He could not take his eyes off of my chest and barely flipped through one sketchbook. At one point I told Ray/Axe that i had forgotten my ID and he exclaimed that I could just show him my breasts in place of ID. Then after all of that he tells me that "i'm hot enough" to work there. i was there in that back office alone with him, there was one other MALE artist in a booth tattooing someone during this time. There was no women in that building and CERTAINLY NOT someone in the room with us. I don't care that they denied me because of my stupid tiktok, I care that they think it's okay to run a shop like this especially when the owner ( Ray Hinojosa) is supposedly a veteran. I left feeling extremely uncomfortable and disgusted. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. (he has a wife btw) read more

Staff came off very welcoming however there seemed to be a lack of knowledge. I came in to get a bellybutton piercing with my friend. She went first and they did a good job. There was limited jewelry to choose from it was between three colors and the colors you could choose from depended on the sizing of your bellybutton. When it was my turn they messed up the placement. When they marked where to pierce they did not ask me to stand up to check placement and they went right to pierce it. Once they were done I stood up and the piercing was OFF CENTER. He also stabbed me above my bellybutton during the piercing on my stomach. The piercer said it was because my anatomy, however after looking at piercing further he did not mark it correctly. It was clearly placed wrong and he would have noticed if he had me stand up to check. I had them take it out and declined their offer to re-pierce it. I wouldn't come back here. There was no reason why the piercing should have gone bad. Go somewhere more knowledgeable for your piercings. read more

I worked here and it was not a good experience. The owner/manager Ray is very unprofessional and rude. He made comments about my weight and how I was prettier when I was thinner. I felt uncomfortable everyday here as I watched everyone around me feel the same way. All 5 of us artist ended up leaving the same day because we couldn't take it anymore. Ray is NOT a professional boss who cares about his team. He makes evervone feel uncomfortable with his constant sexual jokes and comments/advancements. He could care less if his employees are any good. Most of the work that's up at this shop doesn't reflect the current artists he's got. It's all a front to get people in there. Pay attention to how pressured the manager /owner makes you feel when you come in for a consultation. Just research your artist portfolio first before you let them tattoo vou here! Tried to call them to get a rough idea of how much they'd generally charge for a tattoo of a certain size. I have a hearing loss, so I have to use a special service to make phone calls. When I called, this man (whose name I do not know) picked up and hung up after the service announced itself. I called back and explained about my hearing loss. They were gruff and had an attitude. I called the guy out on his behavior by asking, "wait, why are you so rude?" He said he had 15 people in front of him and gave me the bum's rush. I tried to ask my question, but he rudely said to come in and they would give me a quote. The service I use to make calls told me his attitude did NOT change during the second call, nor was he humbled even after I explained about my hearing loss. I tried to call the other location on Gilbert to file a complaint, but the girl who picked up the phone (although she handled the call much better) couldn't do much, nor did she appear to care too much. I am NOT giving this place any of my business, and NOR should ANY of you. The fact the guy did not change his tune or humble himself (regardless of how many people he said he had there) even after I explained about my disability says a LOT about his character. I will NOT support a business that enables this kind of behavior and lack of kindness and moral character. Do NOT go here. read more

At first glance it was a great shop, the staff was friendly and it seemed like a decent place to get work done. Went in for a walk in and had a piece done on my arm while my girlfriend had work done on her chest. Was pretty pleased with it at first but as time went on it got worse. Started to notice the lines were skewed and all the color was coming off as the tattoo scabbed over. Had it for less than a week and some of the major line work and color had peeled off and went in to schedule a touch up. Went in the first time and there wasn't any availability so I had spoke face to face with the artist and the owner of the shop and rescheduled to touch it up after one more day of healing. Show up after taking time out of my schedule to get it fixed and come to find out apparently neither of them are working. Now I have to wait another two days to come back for a new appointment to get it fixed. At this point I'm over it, I just wanted some or all of my money back instead of having it worked on at this shop anymore. After speaking with the receptionist who contacts the owner they tell me that there's nothing they can do and I can't get anything back. Granted there's no refund policy posted on their website anywhere either. So now I'm stuck with this overpriced, poorly done tattoo that I thought was gonna heal and look a lot better than it did from the plethora of praise the other artists were giving each other while it was being done. But now I realize it was a mistake and these artists need way more experience on anything bigger than a dime size flash tattoo that a group of bachelorettes come in and ask for. It was also super unprofessional how they spoke poorly of other customers that had come in to complain about the work in the middle of my piece, and then come to find that same customer posting pictures of their work on here seeing how badly it was done as well. I feel sorry for anyone else who comes in to get work done by them and wouldn't recommend them to anybody. read more
