This is my favorite Indian restaurant! Everything is super flavorful and delicious, and the owners are the sweetest. My parents dine there so often that they know the owners now. I appreciate that they have dietary labels on the menu which makes it easy for me to order gluten-free. The complimentary lentil chip appetizer with dip is gluten-free and the perfect starter. My favorite appetizer is the Crispy Green Chaat. It consists of lightly battered kale and jalapeños and is topped with popped water lily seeds and some sauce. All the flavors and textures just work so well together and it's gluten-free too! The presentation of this dish is beautiful as well. I love the chana masala because it is gluten and dairy-free. You can really taste the spices and it's not too spicy (I'm sensitive to spice). It comes with rice too. I tried the chicken tikka masala but I'm lactose intolerant so that didn't sit well with my stomach even though it was super yummy. My mom loves the lamb meatballs dish. I've been meaning to try the drinks because they sound super refreshing. I highly recommend this family-owned local spot. First time dining here 7/20/22, I ordered fish kebab, I should have ordered chicken, not too bad. I haven't had Indian food for quite a while so I thought I'd try this restaurant out. Very nice interior decor and seating area. The menu was pretty extensive wit so many tempting choices! I got the chicken tikka sandwich, chicken tawa rice, & butterfly pea flower iced tea. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted as good as they looked. The restaurant looks like a fast food place and really not somewhere you want to go on a date on a Saturday night. The owner and staff were very nice but both chicken tikka masala and paneer tikka masala lacked salt and there were watery. As we sat down they brought a papadum with sour cream. Hubby ordered a glass of wine and they brought a small glass which was half full. I thought that was a rip off. If you want to order alcohol, order beer instead. The portion size runs on the small side. The best part of the dinner for me was the mango lassi. They gave us a happy hour discount of 10%. The bill came out about $50. read more

Now on to the food: Cauliflower- the best dish by far! I can only imagine how much even tastier it is when dining in and it comes out sizzling hot Kale salad- meh. Nice to get some fresh greens but the kale wasn't massaged so it wasn't that appetizing. I wouldn't order it again Chana masala- yummy and not greasy at all. Definitely a repeat item Fish tikka masala-ok so here's my issue with this one. My husband said it was really good but there was literally 1 piece of fish and the rest just curry. $17 for the dish so that was pretty disappointing. Not sure it always comes with so little fish or if they messed up but at that price and for so little fish he wouldn't get it again Chicken tawa rice-meh. I ordered the fish tikka as a lunch special - I didn't like that I was served hot food in a plastic bowl whereas my friend had her meal on a plate. The fish could have used more flavor and the Chole as well. The Chole was good, but not a wow. My friend liked her chicken tikka sandwich. The Papad was good and the butterfly iced tea as well. We came the very first day that they opened and ordered five or six different menu items and every single one of them was excellent! I suppose the reason I was so impressed is because usually at soft openings the service is lacking and the quality is just so-so but this place surpassed any of my past doubts. The food itself had so many different variations of flavors all layered into the perfect bites. The cauliflower appetizer was probably one of my favorites; it's fried but the sauce and heat made it a unique taste, and I couldn't get enough of it! The lamb was well seasoned and prepared like koobideh so it was very tender. The Chicken habanero was tender and cooked perfectly (not dry) the sauce had a little kick but it was very tasty it didn't overtake the plate. We absolutely finished every bite of the beet and fig salad with creamy goat cheese three words: to die for! Came in tonight (Friday) at about 6PM and it was pretty busy, however we didn't have any issues finding a table to sit at. When we got to the counter to order, the cashier was very friendly, knowledgable about the menu, and made great recommendations. We ended up ordering the crispy masala shrimp, lamb curry, chicken wings, and the pana cotta dessert. Everything tasted amazing and it was all easily split between two adults. The food is probably the best Indian fusion I've had in a long time. We had the mango habanero chicken tikka and the fish tikka. Both were perfectly cooked -- soft and succulent. The chicken tikka plates that we shared were juicy and fresh. I really enjoyed the mango habanero, the flavor was so light and there was a kick from the habanero but it wasn't spicy to the point where you couldn't eat it. I also enjoyed the marigold passion fruit, it was a little on the sweet side for me but it had a little fizzle and was very refreshing.
