The upper floor has home decor, drapery, vinyls, faux fur, drapery rods, and drapery rings. The basement has all the notions and crafts (punch needle, crochet,  embroidery,  knitting,  quilting), zippers, thread, sewing needles, trims, sewing patterns, fleece. The staff are very helpful. There are escalators and one elevator. There is no free WiFi. The store is wheelchair accessible. There are no washrooms. I had gone to the upstairs bridal section to have a Sneeky peak of what's to come for my future and they only had like 10 bridal dresses..... My fiancé also got himself an outfit which also did not have a lot of choices for him either. We were able to bargain the price down for both the items. We got there pretty late (turns out just an hour isn't enough!) and they let us come in at a later date to finish our work, with no additional fees. There's additional space downstairs, but I didn't check it out. The employees are quite friendly, though our experience was entirely self-directed. There are plenty of people chatting while crafting; there are quite a few university students, probably due to the student discount. We ended up painting and firing three pieces. Sadly, one piece got chipped after firing. They did refire it, but we had to come back another time to pick it up. There's a pretty wide selection of ceramics, with a few "specialty" pieces, but it's worth noting they're Made in China designs, if you care about that sort of thing. Overall I would probably go back, with a bit more time in mind - there are plenty of great restaurants in the area to decompress, too!

This time, after choosing our pieces and following their six-colour guideline for children, I was confronted by a clerk who told me my ten-year-old "only needs four colours" and that "it's four when we're busy." The tone was hostile, and the reasoning made no sense. Customers pay for the piece, the studio time, and the firing. Colour limits serve no purpose beyond making it easier for the establishment to handle customers. The same employee who was rude and hostile later called to say she hadn't realized we had more than one piece and that we could use six colours after all. By then, the experience was already compromised, so we did not return. Crock A Doodle was a direct contrast. Seven minutes away. Transit-friendly. Every table stocked with the full set of thirty colours. The price of the item covers everything: paint, time, and firing. It was straightforward and worth it.
