Last week on August Aug 3rd I saw a fabric that I liked and went back to buy it a few days later. When I wanted to buy it she advised me it's not on sale, but full price. I showed her the online price and told her I had seen the fabric with my own eyes on sale on Aug 3rd, but she advised me to buy it online instead. I would have , but the shipping cost is $15. I wrote customer service, but nobody got back to me. The whole experience was beyond frustrating.

About a week later, I was told my chair was beyond repair. I picked it up and found a little shop called Broken Leg Furniture Repair. The owner is the repair man and he took it on. They look like silk, framing the windows and hanging so elegantly down the wall. They have this deep green color. You know how pretty royal purple is? Well, think of that for a green. Deep, rich, shimmery. The way they drape is as if they were tailor made for my windows. Oh wait, they are! Crazy Joe's came out to my house. They brought samples with them. They had different types of fabric in various designs. This being the clearance area of the department, I couldn't get them dyed in special colors, but I could easily do that by ordering from Crazy Joe's Drapery Warehouse ;p I did have a difficult time finding the pattern I liked paired with the fabric I liked, but after much patience, explaining and showing from the representatives, I found exactly what I wanted. My favorite part of the whole deal was the price. I loved how much I saved. I mean, it is truly worth it. If you need new drapes for your home, check out Crazy Joe's. And if you want to save a little money, the clearance center is Mississauga is the place to be!

EXCUSES EXCUSES EXCUSES…read more I will never buy any product or services from Aleen's again. This is what happened: I called Alleen's College Park for a full service custom blind experience. Sonia showed up to measure two windows and show me fabric and options for the Hunter Douglas honeycomb blinds. The fabric choices were easy to make and matched the decor perfectly. I gave her a $1000 deposit on a 2395$ quote on Jan 10, 2014. Sonia informed that it would be 3-4 weeks, and shouldn't be delayed because this is not a busy season. The blinds arrived and a time was scheduled. I had to call Sonia to follow up to ensure the installer was still making the appointment half way through as I had not heard from him. He ended up being 3 hours late but I agreed to wait. He installed the non motorized blind successfully and went to install the motorized one, and it was not in working order. I called Sonia, who gave me the low down on their repair process, and when I questioned her about inspecting the product before it leaving their shop, she indicated to me that it was Hunter Douglas responsibility to ensure their product was quality inspected. But here I am paying Alleens to install a finished product. I am buying a service and product from them. The complete lack of business ownership shown by Sonia, Margareta and Melanie was overwhelming. The blind came back from repair and was installed - however the time and frustration that this experience has given me was beyond acceptable. No one who I spoke with from Alleens apologized for their mistakes. They apologized it happened, and blamed it on the manufacturer and the fact it was a custom product. I would assume that if you are selling custom luxury products - you are selling the experience that goes with it. If you buy from Alleens - you better hope that nothing goes wrong ... It's was a tremendously frustrating experience when the culture from the top down shows blatant disregard for the time of the customer - and only about their bottom line.

Except when I actually had my motorized blinds die from dead batteries, I decided to make use of the offer and it turns out to be the most minimal of efforts. =\ Turns out, all this goodwill gesture was, was for for someone to come and take out the battery holder that's at the top of the blinds and put batteries (that I would have to purchase myself) into the battery holder and slide it back in. And that's it. I literally did it myself in 2 mins after I watched some youtube videos (before, when I called about this complimentary service call, I forgot that the battery holder could only be seen if I lifted the blinds all the way up so I thought it was more of an ordeal to change the batteries). Anyhow, while I had thought it was a decent offer (like a battery change but includes batteries!), it ended up being a pretty useless makegood attempt. It's more effort to coordinate a service call than it is to youtube a how-to video and do it yourself.

They'll sell small amounts as little as half a yard. Their silk selection was huge as was the linen. Lots of houndstooth, Prince of Wales checked design, and Tweedy looking fabrics.

Pillow forms are in every size you could possibly want.
