We get our firewood from Randy every time. Communication is amazing, delivery is fast and quality of the seasoned oak is great! We burn it in our home all winter and enjoy it so much. We also have one of his metal firewood racks that we purchased in 2021 and it's been a wonderful addition to our backyard. read more

Loved working with Randy. super responsive and have used him for years. very professional deliver on time when they say they are going to. They stack all the firewood nicely and leave everything clean. highly recommend read more

Great communication! Stacked my wood nicely right where I asked them. Definitely use again.

I usually get a few stacks of firewood from here every year. They set up shop on University in the same place every year and it's very convenient. Just pull in, pay for the type of wood you want, back your truck up and they will load up the wood for you. Apparently, they have a delivery service, but I have never used it. Some places sell stacks of firewood for a few dollars less, but you get a few more pieces of wood from Randy's, so it evens out in the wash. They have always been friendly when I come by here. They have a great dog that hangs out on the lot. He will bring you a stick because he likes to play fetch. read more

PRICE GOUGING before this severe winter power outage price was $20, now it's doubled to $40. I get supply & demand, but this is taking advantage of ppls misfortune during a natural disaster. read more

I have been using Randy's firewood for post oak cooking wood .. they always provide clean dry post oak that cooks well in an offset smoker .. i highly recommend Randy's for all your firewood and cooking wood needs read more

The response from the owner is so full of BS that it is not worthy of a response. The one thing I will address is that the owner likes to respond to one star comments with something similar to "I have been selling firewood for 30 years etc". He need to change that to "I have been ripping people off for 30 years and gotten away with it. I stand by my original post. read more

We came here just before the winter ice storm hit. We needed firewood due to potential power loss coming. They stayed open late in order to try and take care of as many people as possible. They even helped load you up. Because of them we got firewood when everyone else was out. Thank you so much! read more

I order from Randy every year. He and his team do a great job. I called his number and Randy picked up the phone but you can also fill out a form online and the response is quick. He even remembered my name from last years delivery. I ordered on a Friday afternoon and they delivered and stacked the wood the next morning on a Saturday. I always order oak wood and it's real oak not the cheap burning fast kind that you would get at home depo. I definitely recommend this business for your yearly wood restocking. read more

I just bought a quarter-cord of firewood from Randy's. They did an excellent job -- they showed up when they said they would, delivered the wood, stacked it neatly, and then cleaned up the debris on my driveway. Can't ask for anything more. read more

Good selection of wood sized and types. Smoking and firewood. Nice when he is out on 380 for easy pick up

This was our first delivery from Randy's to our HOA community, and I am pleased with the price and the fact that I didn't have to do anything except write the check. Communication and coordination was perfect; Tim delivered it for us and was a super-nice guy. I won't hesitate to call them again! read more

Folks let me tell you, if you're looking for quality wood, at good prices, excellent delivery service excellent communication, caring, clean, and on time, you cannot beat this company. Randy and Debbie are two of the most hardest working quality people I've met in a long time! They communicated with me throughout the entire process... You will not be disappointed, please don't buy out all the cherry or pecan or pinion wood, save some for me for next time. read more

Bought a fourth of a cord at very high price and it's so green it won't burn. Will need to sit in garage for a year. Very heavy so should of known it was not seasoned as advertised. Waste of time and money. read more

I bought wood for the first time ever at Randy's earlier this year. It seemed a little pricey bu I had nothing to compare it to. It burned really well in the fireplace and kept our living room nice and warm. Fast forward to Thanksgiving. To save a few bucks, I bought wood from a tree service in Lewisville. Huge mistake. The "seasoned" wood is crap. It will burn as long as you are ok with tending to it every 10 minutes. I also didn't realize the importance of regular cut lengths. The stuff I bought is all kind of lengths. So, having said all that, I will be heading back to Randy's soon. You definitely get what you pay for and I am willing to pay Randy a little more so I can enjoy a nice fire in the evenings. read more

Great quality wood and a really pleasant owner and staff. I highly reccomend

Ridiculously expensive!! Most everyone is $200 for 1/2 core of seasoned oak 20-24" cut. He is $325 for 18" and $395 for 22-24" cut. Why double everyone else?? And I'm not talking your Joe Schmo. Look at Mr. Firewood, very reputable, Marine Corps Veteran, almost 20 hrs on business - 1/2 cord $200, full cord $400. And he's apologizing for having raised his prices this year. Quit ripping people off Randy - sad and shameful. read more
