Horrible communication. Changing delivery date after confirmation. Then cancelled the delivery halfway through the expected delivery time because the driver stated they were sliding all over the place. It was not icy or even below freezing yet. Offered to reschedule sometime the next week. This was after I had planned on the delivery, taken off work, and waited for 4 days, not contacting anyone else, becuase I was sure of the expected delivery. I can understand letting the driver decide it was too slick, that's a call on the driver. The lack of communication, unanswered phone calls, voicemail was full and we couldn't even leave a message, and then saying that since the driver cancelled the deliveries because it was too slick, we were welcome to come pick up the wood was the final nail in the coffin. I would not recommend them to anyone. I was able to make a call to another person, and got the wood delivered that afternoon. Even in the rain, when the temperature was dropping, and the other company was prompt, friendly, well priced, and he let me know when he was on his way, and when he arrived. Just one guy...how is that even possible?!? Overall, a terrible experience with Austin's Firewood. 1/10 would not eat. :( read more

I am very unhappy with the customer service, the amount of wood that I received and how my house was scoped out. I paid 270.00 for a 6x4 stack and a 4x4 stack of wood that is mostly criss cross stacked, open gaps, not stacked tightly and green. Green wood does not burn!! I will not use them again read more

The delivery itself was GREAT, but the communication from the office was terrible. If you understand they come whenever and do their thing it is great. They disregard anything I said except for the address and where to put it. The delivery driver backed the trailer up onto the curb and ripped up our yard. When asked if he would fix it, he apologized and said he would. He never came back. He also didn't give us a full cord. Maybe, maybe 3/4 of what we paid for. read more

Don't bother with these guys. I was promised seasoned firewood and got very green wood that is hard to start, you might have better luck lighting a concrete log than one of these. I texted them with my complaint, giving them the benefit of the doubt before writing this review, got no reply. read more
