After talking with Daniel Dossey, he immediately stood head and shoulders above the rest; we were impressed with his professionalism, knowledge, and character. Insuleer offers a complete suite of home energy testing, insulation, radiant barrier, windows, etc., that outshines any other home window company for the price and service. Jorge and the window installation crew did a great job quickly and efficiently taking out our old windows and putting in the new ones; interior and exterior caulking was done neatly and with care, and they even swept off our back porch after the job was finished. Our older home looks newer and more modern on the outside, but more importantly, we notice a big difference in our interior comfort. We haven't received an electric bill yet, but we'll definitely see a difference as we are now able to set the thermostat lower and still keep the house plenty warm. John called me the morning of my appointment (today) and told me that he would be at my house at…read more9:30. He called later to say he was running late. It wasnt until after 10:30 that he arrived. After showing him what I needed removed, he told me he didn't have his small stump grinder with him. When I made the appointment with him by phone several weeks ago I told him that this job specifically required his small stump grinder and that was why I was contacting him. I reminded him of this conversation when he was at my house and he didn't even apologize! John also quoted me $650 for 15 stumps. He also told me he would charge extra taxes if I paid by check instead of cash. One of the stumps was in a flower bed. John said I would need to move the flowers out of there so he could get to it. I scheduled an appointment with him to come back in 2 weeks and started doing some more phone calling and am sooo glad I did! I found another service that ended up coming out today with their small grinder. They only charged me $375 and got it all taken care of same day. They removed all the flowers for me in my front flower bed and even re-potted the flowers for me. They also let me pay by check and did not charge extra for it. They did a superb job. I high recommend them for all your small pesky stump grinding needs and will happily pass along their information to anyone who asks me for it.

I am personally disappointed as I feel they knew they planned to make this change prior to installing a landscape they agreed to maintain. In addition, the work was not completed and some of the work was not well done and will have to redone IF I can find a company to do the work at this busiest time of year for landscaping. At this point I am unable to find anyone available to assist. Again, so very disappointed and questioning the ethics of Calico.
