The donuts are delicious IF and only if they have them in stock when you arrive. This Randy's doesn't like to restock their best selling donuts AT ALL! I've shown up at 3:00pm, 5:00pm and 6:30pm looking for a few specific donuts and yet for whatever reason the staff will refrain from making more of them even though they have several hours left before the store closes. At every other Randy's, scratch that, every other DONUT SHOP I've ever been to the staff makes sure to keep the most popular donuts in stock throughout the entire day but I suppose the workers in this Randy's have more important things to do. Oh and there's one person on their staff who's incredibly rude and needs to be retrained on how to properly treat customers. Can't remember her name unfortunately. Just avoid this Randy's altogether. read more

I give Randy's a lot of crap lol cause I feel they're extremely overrated. But to their credit I just got some donuts from the new Randy's on Van Buren, and they weren't too bad. They deserve some credit for making decent tasting donuts. I grew up near LAX and rarely went to the original Randy's in Inglewood because there were better local donut shops around. So for many years I've treated them like a red headed step child... but to their credit these donuts I just got from the Van Buren location we're pretty decent. They have a good bite, not too greasy, and weren't too sweet. I judge donut shops by their glazed donuts and my favorite is still an original Glazed Krispy Kreme. But not bad Randy's.... I'll give you some long overdue props. read more

Nice selection of donuts. The frosted cherry and blueberry were dry and the frosting fell off. The raised donuts were very good. The coffee and the maple bacon were amazing. My biggest complaint is that there is a hole on each side of the box which leads to stale donuts and the chance of ants getting inside. Not sure what the point of that is. Was shocked at the price. Was buying 6 but I thought the heavily accented employee said only $2 more if I bought a dozen. It was $2 off for a dozen. Paid $28 for them. Yikes! I thought I'd try the newly opened Randy's Donuts in Riverside. First of all, there were no flies on the morning that I visited. Other reviewers had mentioned that problem. I'll comment on two donuts. The Pumpkin Spice donut was delicious. The frosting was creamy like it had been made with cream cheese. The cake donut was moist and bursting with pumpkin and fall-spice flavors. So good! I also tried a classic glazed twist donut. The dough had a good texture and the glaze had that slight crusty crispy-like texture, but to my disappointment, it tasted like old oil. I actually didn't finish it. I know they are going through some growing pains, so I will try them out at a later date. read more

Disclaimer: I've never been to a Randy's before, even though I know of the famous Inglewood one, but I did work in a mom and pop donut shop in Pomona for 2-3 years in my college years. For a long time after I couldn't eat donuts and rarely do now, so all that to say these are great. Not greasy. Super fluffy. The chocolate bar (which is my favorite) was good and I tried the raspberry jelly donut my husband got and it was filled well and fluffy too (I don't usually like jelly donuts). We will likely go there on occasion when we are in the mood for donuts. We went on Thursday, mid morning, no long line. I'm sure it would be different in a morning rush, but that's everywhere. read more

Not good. We usually go to the location in LA for many years so when we heard they opened here in Riverside it was awesome. Went into the shop today and asked it it was same as LA location the responded yes. Then upsold and suggested away. I told her the donuts look a little different and she assured me they are same Well I bought a dozen which is 26.00 not your average dozen cost. When we got home they are for the most part stale and not like the original Randy's. Actually far from them These are made Chinsy/cheaply. My favorite is the coconut and it was for sure not the same as LA Randy's. No wonder the place was empty. I will not go back. I'm not a fan. Save the money and go to Winchells. Came here with my preteens after a sleepover. First time visiting and it was recommended by one of the girls. We got a dozen and two lattes. It was $31 and then a $2 discount because we got a dozen. First the bars (maple and chocolate no cream) are absolutely disgusting. The bottom of the bar is nothing but oil and it takes away from the entire flavor of the bar. I couldn't finish mine it was too greasy. My 11 yr old doesn't want to return and I probably won't either. My husband liked his glazed raised donut but his second one he thought was too gooey in the center like maybe it wasn't fully cooked. The little ones also didn't eat theirs (pink with sprinkles and chocolate cake with sprinkles). Overall I'm not sure if this is a fluke since it just opened. But it is too over priced for upset stomachs and half eaten donuts. read more

I visited when they first opened! The employees looked eager to help me choose my donuts. The donuts are yummy and big. I would say they are better than Krispy Kreme. The only problem that I had was that there were FLIES EVERYWHERE (even inside the food cases where the donuts were kept). I highly recommend the churro donut! read more

Best donuts I've ever had! They were nice enough to give my girlfriend and I a fresh glazed donut while we were ordering our dozen. Erick took our order and was super patient and had a great attitude. There's no seating inside but I would definitely come back! I paid $90 for three dozen of day old doughnuts for my office and they were a fail. They were not fresh and stale. It's was a shame and now all 30 of my fellow employees may never give Randys a try. First time trying Randy's donuts. I love donuts! The employee was great...greeted us right away. I chose a dozen of the "Classics" which included glazed raised, chocolate raised, maple raised and cake donuts. The donuts were fairly large and "pretty" if that matters. I hate leaving negative comments but - true - they were "different" than other donuts I've had. They were "bready" and a little tough. First of all.. this is my second time to the Riverside location and should've never returned. Went in ordered 1 dozen assorted and 1 dozen mini assorted.. so $38.15 later we drive to a family party. Everyone excited to see the Randy's boxes asking "oh wow, you guys went to LA" and we were like nope. Donuts came out of the box just as quick as they went in.. but everyone and I mean everyone's disappointment and dissatisfied look said it all. These donuts shouldn't even have "Randy's Donuts" name anywhere on the box. They were literally worse than day old donuts and trust me I've had 3 day old donuts that tasted better! Everything was falling off the top of the donuts, the Froot Loops, Fruity Pebbles and Cinnamon Toast Crunch were completely stale! The icing was literally falling off the donut on the maple long john.. We've been to the LA location and NEVER had any problem. But after reading so many reviews on here about this location I know people are speaking truth. You'll pay a little bit extra than you're regular donut shop but it's worth the taste and the fact that it's such an iconic place and now it's here in riverside. read more
