By far the best flooring company in the area. Trust-worthy and very personable. Randy and his crew are amazing to work with!

We are thrilled with the hardwood floor refinishing work done by Kevin Smith Flooring. Randall and…read moreMickey were professional, respectful of our home and easy to work with. Our floors are engineered pecan. The actual wood measures about a quarter inch. Because of this, the work was challenging. Randall explained his entire process to us before the work began. He and Mickey paid attention to every detail from start to finish. Plastic was put up around the sanding areas to limit the dust getting into other parts of the house. A special vacuum was used during the sanding process to keep the area as dust-free as possible. Then the floors were coated twice with a low luster, water-based product and we love the finish better than the shiny floor we had prior. The finished floors are beautiful and make the whole house look like new. I highly recommend Kevin Smith Flooring to refinish your hardwood floors. One of the reasons we chose this company is because floors are all they do. They are knowledgeable about everything hardwood floors. Their work is high quality with reasonable pricing. Randall goes over and above to please the customer. Pictures: All the flooring is going in the same direction. The pictures show the floors in different rooms/different angles. P.S. My location is Lititz, PA. Not sure why it's showing Providence, RI.

They came out and re-did the patio. It was dont very poorly the second time. - Areas not painted (raw concrete showing) - Bubbles all over - Tye Dye Effect -some areas have no clear at all I contacted the company, they came out and sanded it and put on a new clear coat -same bubbles , same tye dye effect and still showed raw concrete undermeath I contacted the company, they came out and sanded the "bad" areas and clear coated again - SAME ISSUES Too cold now at this point to redo it. so they just put clear on it one last time just to get by tile spring - now it is super slippery, some spots are done too heavy, some not at all. Company comes back and sands off 20% of the clear with promising to resurface it in the spring. Spring comes - New crew comes back to lightly sand more clear and apply new clear. I said to the crew- so youll see the tye dye effect, raw concrete and bubbles underneath? He said YES. I said well there is no sense in continuing BOSS calls and says he didnt remember the email that he sent stating he would redo it and he cant do ir right away because he has no supplies for it. __ Patio is disarray for 3 months last year, there is NO way i am letting them ruin my summer with a tore up area again. Or letting them on my property because i am positive that they are not capable of fixing it. There crews are terrible. I have a nice polywood patio table, they set their tools on top of it. Spit in my flower bed while talking to me, Bash talk their boss while at a customers home and ruined my edging for my support beams on porch. DO NOT use this company

Unfortunately, a hard rain (not in forecast) resulted in some minor problems with the finish coat. The guys returned in coupe weeks, removed the old coat and put a new one. It looks just perfect! Concrete Alternatives are real professional who cares about their reputations. I wish all contractors were like them.

We purchased approximately 2,200 sq feet of your Coreluxe lvp, 13 matching custom treads, in…read moreaddition to base molding, and transition strips. The product purchased was sold to us as a life proof flooring that would work best for our lifestyle, family size, and dog. We installed flooring in several rooms upstairs (ones not typically used daily) and started to install downstairs. Scratches occurred in our hallway, living room and bathroom which caused great concern. At that point we decided to stop the installation and reached out to the store we purchased it from. They suggested we contact the warranty department. We did, sent pictures and a list of concerns. They asked us to send two full boxes so they could be tested, which we did. They were certain it would be from the same lot even though we bought over 2.5 pallets. Within days we received an email saying there were no issues and the flooring passed the 3 tests. When we responded to that email asking for further information and again express our concerns we were dismissed. I reached out asking to speak with a supervisor, was given contact information and sent her an email. That was last week and no response. As I've said before, we spent over $7,000 and have started to remove the flooring we just put down due to poor quality and lack of durability. We sent pictures showing damage in several areas. Here is the response, note that scratches are not covered under warranty. Basically if there are people, pets, sinks, toilets, furniture, shoes, kids, toys or appliances in your home, this product is not for you.  "Good Afternoon, I hope you all are doing well. I'm sending this email in regards to your flooring concern. I have spoken with my team in regards to your recent communications with us in regards to your floor and having to take it up. Unfortunately, we wouldn't be able to further assist with the flooring concern due to the scratches not being covered under our warranty and the planks passing our QA sample review. Per the warranty, we cover for finish wear concerns due to normal residential use conditions that result in the exposure of the decorative layer, in which we had the right to investigate to validate that. But we don't cover for site and environmental related concerns such as scratches. It states on page 5 of the warranty,  "Site and Environmental Conditions. Defects or damages resulting from: site conditions (such as extreme heat, radiant heat (for some products), or exposure to sand); indentations and scratches (caused by furniture, heavy rolling loads like un-modified wheels on caster chairs, castor chairs without protection mats, heavy electric wheel chairs, metal or thin wheels on appliances, tools, grit, heels, pets nails and claws, toys, etc.); improper maintenance and accidents; misuse and abuse. These items are not covered under this limited warranty" On page 33 of the warranty and install guide, there is care and maintenance guide for you to look at on how the take care of the floor and how prevent denting, gouges and scratches on the floor since it still can be damaged if not careful. It was stated by you all that the floor has been pulled up. If you decide to reinstall the floor or possibly install a new floor with us, we would recommend you to review the install and warranty guide for that particular floor. We appreciate your time and patients with us and thank you for choosing LL Flooring."
