I recently had a small deck and concrete sidewalk project completed by Berks Commercial Renovations. This was in addition to the beautiful 4 season sunroom addition they constructed last summer 2020. I wanted the deck added to the sunroom with a sidewalk that went from deck around the house to driveway in front. Dean Moise, the contractor and company owner, worked with me in designing the project. He and Courtney, his business manager, are terrific to work with. I was kept apprised of each step of construction. The crews that completed each step of the project were knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend this business for whatever kind of work you need done on your home. They did several projects for me and the workmanship was more than I could ask for. The owner Dean was very easy to work with and is assistant Courtney was more than helpful too! The contractor Bruce does fantastic work and is so very pleasant to work with. I had new doors on my bedrooms replaced, a new bathroom tub replaced and new flooring and also a small deck replaced, all done to my satisfaction. Dean Gabriel and their team did an AMAZING job on the exterior of our house replacing the vinyl siding,windows and added 2 brand new beautiful doors. They have exceeded our expectations and true professionals and craftsman of what they do. They did an absolute beautiful job and made our house look brand new. They were here from start to finish consistently. There are very few contractors that we've had experience where they start the job early in the morning finish up around 5:00 and stay until the job is fully completed and approved. They finished the job in a week and always left each day cleaning up after themselves. Dean was very willing to work within our budget and took the time to explain everything about his plans for the job in great detail. The office manager Courtney is very diligent and friendly and always gets back to you right away if you have any questions. We highly recommend Dean and his team as they are experts at what they do and are extremely reliable. We are so excited to have them continue to do more work in the spring on our deck. read more

I had high hopes, but ended in disappointment. I reached out to this company after reading the great reviews on their website and seeing all of the awards Dean, the company president, won for home renovations. While scheduling a meeting to discuss the scope of our project, I was told that Dean has many great ideas, and we would have an in-depth meeting to discuss what we're looking to do. Sadly, this did not happen. My initial meeting with Dean lasted 12 minutes with little to no information written down. Dean was condescending in his approach the entire meeting since we did not have an architect-level drawing available to him. My husband and I completely renovated our farmhouse so we have an idea of what goes into building plans and permits. We have also worked with many contractors in the past and have NEVER experienced a situation like this. It's unfortunate that a business owner needs to lie about how a situation was handled to paint them in a better light. I was 100% receptive to the little suggestions given during our meeting such as where to put windows. Dean had our sketch plan in his hands but decided to leave with no notes or a sketch. I was told he would take pictures and measurements of our property during the meeting, this did not happen. I would never demand work from anyone. I simply asked for an update on my quote since I had not heard from him in 2 weeks. The response I got was " I'm going to pass....." I'm still left with questions: Why would a professional builder leave with no notes to give me a quote when this was the reason why I contacted them? How did Dean do his best to give us a quote, but then said he had no information to do so? How was our sketch an unworkable plan when he never mentioned this in our meeting? It took more time for me to set up all of my documents and inspiration photos than it did to meet with him to "collect" my ideas. Very unfortunate situation, I hope they do better in the future and that no one else has this disheartening experience. read more

Our rear patio was collapsing. Berks Commercial Renovations came to rescue. They installed Sona Tube concrete footing, pressure treated support beams, new fascia, K-gutter, downspout and extended roof rafters. Now the rear patio looks beautiful and is safe to enjoy. They did a great job. I am happy with their work. read more

Stay away from this company!!! They dont stand by there work at all. The owner personally told me if there was any problemwith the install that he would fix it for free. Then only two years later the panleing started going bad and he came out and said Im gonna have to charge you for this. I said I thought you back up all your work, he said I dont need this harresment get somenone else to do it. Dean is hard to work with and very rude to his clients. I ahve yet to see a good review for this company. Stay Away!!!! read more
