August…read more2 I entered a contract with Cody Holt bgmf solutions I knew he was starting out, as we asked many questions and he assured us the basement would be "seamless" He assured us he can take on this project. The first pour of the floor he did the wrong color. He admitted that he knew it was the wrong color later on. But still proceeded with it. The break joints in the concrete, whatever product he used on them were showing through and was not applied properly. There were holes not filled in properly. And bumps annd bubbles all over the floor. We were assured all of these problems will be fixed and the right color. It was just a "bad run". And he won't "half ass it" When the proper color was poured, the color was spot on and we were very happy with it. The joints did look a lot better too. He sanded it down and poured the other side of the basement. With the epoxy settling and his sanding on one side. There is concrete showing. The joints are very uneven, there is major bubbles, a boot print, epoxy not going all the way to the wall and epoxy drips on my garage door, sink and hardwoods. The Final top coat was to be applied and smoothing out the floor, or so he says. This was never done Also the steps were to be done. The day that Cody was coming to start the steps he messaged us saying he is not able to do the steps, everything is done to his ability. And he wants the rest of the payment. We spent over a month with MULTIPLE no shows, excuses after excuses and then just walking away from an incomplete floor. He is not willing to fix any problems and want us to pay HIM the rest of the money, even though he is in Breach of contract. I am flabbergasted that a professional business is conducted this way. Please be very cautious using this company. Do research to see if he is actually licensed.

For $13,000, we have watched one of the hanging bar cabinets come off the wall unexpectedly and crash to the ground... in pieces. Now, we have our 8.5 foot barn beam mantle detaching from the wall. As we have taken the mantle down due to safety, we found this heavy, 8.5 foot barn beam was pushed into the wall with only three, half-inch, lag bolts and no epoxy used. Please be sure to do your research carefully before even thinking of hiring this company. We have never received an apology, but we're told when the bar cabinet came crashing down, " These types of accidents happen in this line of work." No, no they don't! Especially not twice!
