John did come back to TRY and fix it several times over the course of four years, but it continued to get worse the more he messed with it. It would look good for the first week and after that, it would look worse than before. He has sealed it now 5 times and even used xylene once. We believe he has over sealed it and now refuses to fix it. We have been dealing with this nightmare with him since installing our patio. The patio needs to have all the sealer stripped off. And John does not want to do this probably because he realizes it's gonna be a lot of work to strip this size patio and expensive. John is very difficult to deal with when he makes mistakes. Every contractor in the business of concrete has an issue at some point with sealing a patio. Unfortunately mine was the one for him. It would be nice if he could just be a stand-up businessman and fix his mistake. 1020 ft.² of patio cost a lot of money that John got paid to do this job. And the finished product is definitely not satisfactory work. It's even cracking in about 5 different sections now and crumbling apart. I believe this job was too big for John to handle. I suggest if you have a big patio you want poured do not use this company.

We signed a contract with Absolute in January of 2022 and paid a 50% deposit upfront. He told us…read moreour start date would likely be end of July or August 2022. By March of 2023, after months of no communication we reached out and he could still not give us an estimate of when he would be able to start our deck. (He works alone so each deck takes him a very long time). At that point, after over a year of waiting patiently we asked for a refund and were told that it would be mailed. It has now been 7 months since our refund request and we are still awaiting the return of our deposit. To add insult to injury Rob has spent the last month ignoring our emails and a certified letter. We've spent the better part of a year attempting to resolve this privately and amicably without making this public but he has left us no choice. TL/DR. He severely misled us with the timeline and has refused to give us our deposit back.
